5 out of 5 starsI’m so delighted with my new ceremony folder. It’s beautiful! No more flapping pages at outdoor ceremonies if it’s blowing a hoolie. Many thanks, Kamma Springs ♥️

About lorgie
We make books from wood, out of our workshop between the hills and the sea in Gordon, Australia.
Our range of bespoke timber books have found homes on every continent (bar Antarctica : we're working on it), and they serve a multitude of purposes. They've been wedding guest books, engagement presents, anniversary gifts, birthday albums, retirement presents. They have commemorated lives well lived, and celebrated life just begun. Hidden 'will you marry me' engravings have heralded the beginnings of new lives lived together. Couples have returned years later to order baby books to match their wedding albums. Graduates have carried our portfolios to their first interviews, and thanked us for the boost in confidence we provided. Our books can be found at cellar doors, cafes, creative workshops and airbnb homes. Each book begins life in a careful collaboration between us and our customers.

Frequently asked questions
How does the proofing process work?
I will send a black+white cover design based on the information provided to me in the order/checkout process. This proof will be sent through the internal Etsy message system NOT via email.
I'm happy to make adjustments to these proofs to ensure that all parties are satisfied with the final product, however after three proofs additional charges may be incurred for any further design changes.
How are the books made?
Lorgie is the original Etsy seller of engraved timber + screw post bound books. Sadly, our designs are now being widely replicated. However ordering with us ensures you will receive a genuinely high quality product.
Our books are made with timber veneered board, selected for strength and resistance to warping. The books are sanded and finished with a VOC free eco varnish, this gives the books a satin feel and to protect it over time.
The books have a double hinged front and back cover for maximum flexibility and the screw post binding method allows the pages of the book to be removed and refilled.
The 6x9" and 8.5x12" books, as well as the A5 and A4 portfolios, ship with a cotton drawstring bag.
How does custom image engraving work?
I am happy to engrave your own image - such as wedding or personal logos. Please supply a high resolution black and white digital file via the Etsy message system. JPEG and PDF files are best and the image should have clear lines with little to no shading. Photos can't be used.
