Hi there! Welcome to lorinichols., where you'll find an ever growing collection of beautiful handmade birds and other items I can't resist making!! Take a look around and be sure to check back every couple days or so. You'll find new lorinichols lovelies almost daily!


Please submit payment through Paypal within 48 hours of your purchase. If payment is not received, I will try to contact you through Etsy. If I don't hear back, I will cancel the sale.
Alabama residents will be charged 6% sales tax. Sorry - it's the law!


Packages will be shipped within 72 hours of payment, not including weekends and holidays. I typically ship on Wednesday, and Friday. Packages are sent USPS first class mail unless otherwise noted. Please let me know if you are interested in delivery confirmation or insurance. Additional shipping charges will apply. Also, if you order more than one item additional shipping may occur.

Refunds and Exchanges

If you don't love your order, let me know right away and we'll work on an exchange. All items must be returned in the same condition they were originally received.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Because I work with acorns, as they dry, they sometimes crack. This is a desired affect and something I look for. If I can find the "already-cracked" acorns I use them. However, many of my owls/birds use acorns that are not cracked. You may find in a month, year or decade the acorns do show cracks. This is normal and I like to think of it as my owl aging with me.
