A Hawaiian love, heart, and soul.
Currently residing in Tacoma, Washington, but a Pacific Coast native, Lost Aloha is my obsession with all things Hawaiian -- the walls of my studio are even painted Ocean Soul blue.
Polynesian art and the deep, blue Pacific ocean inspire my work, but nothing will come close to Nature's art of the Islands.
I work a little bit of all my crafty tendencies with each creation -- a little beadweaving, a dash of crochet, and I even have a reason to actually use my Cricut -- all to make sure the recipient opens up their own care package of paradise and Aloha.
One day, I hope to call the Big Island (my favorite so far) my home, but for now, my husband and I are transforming our Pacific Northwest home into our own corner of Hawaii. Aloha ♥
A collection of lush, handmade beaded Plumeria flowers and Hawaiian Lava Rock jewelry. Aspiring to live a life of art, photography, and Aloha.
Lost Aloha, home of the original Lost Aloha Flower -- a pretty, beadwoven Plumeria blossom -- and Tropical Island-style Lava Rock jewelry.
Self-taught in beadweaving and jewelry making, Lost Aloha was started in January 2011, when I first decided to dedicate my love of the islands with my everyday life. From the beadwork to the packaging, the crocheted keepsake bags, photography and listing process, all is done with my own two hands. I want your time with Lost Aloha to be the most amazing shopping experience you can have, and I strive to provide my art with the beauty and trade of the islands.
♥ What makes the Lost Aloha flowers different from other beaded flowers? First, I design my flowers with Aloha and the islands in mind :) Also, I use the peyote-stitch beading technique, which adds lightness to the flower, while not sacrificing strength. The petals have a more organic curl to them compared to traditional french beaded flowers, and the different size beads adds unique dimensional properties not found in other flowers. But I will let you be the judge ♥
All products come from a smoke-free home environment, but I can't promise that any postal worker along the way isn't a chain smoker or avid dog owner. We do have two cats who sometimes insists on sitting on my lap when I bead, but I try my best to keep them on their kitty condo or the bed, and not on my desk!
As always, I'm Trade and Convo friendly! Aloha ♥

♥ Please note that everyone's computer or smartphone or tablet screen is different, and displays colors differently. I always double check my photos for color accuracy on 3 different devices: usually my Dell laptop, one of the hubby's Apple computers, and one of our smartphones. But do remember that even then, the color you see might not be the same.

• Quick Note About Copyrights •
I designed everything in my shop myself, created it myself, and photographed it myself. My beaded plumerias, The Lost Aloha flower, is an original pattern that I spent a long time developing, and then more time and money getting it copyright protected. I do not sell or distribute copies of my pattern, on the main premise of protecting my work as an artist as much as I can. I hope you understand this, and can see things from my point of view. I encourage everyone to do what they love, and to follow their own artistic paths. Please do not copy my hard work! Mahalo!
