Lost & Sound began in late 2013 when a dear friend asked me to design her wedding invitations. I've always been a doodler and have developed my design skills at various jobs, but that friend gave me the push I needed to turn a hobby into a career!
I love knowing that I've captured somebody's vision and put it on paper. How satisfying for both of us.
When I'm not working on custom designs, you can likely find me experimenting in the kitchen, growing veggies in my makeshift patio garden, sampling Michigan craft beers, reading in the park, or dreaming about distant lands. (Travel is my true love.)
What does Lost & Sound mean?
When I'm "lost" -- when I find myself in unknown territory -- my heart is the most "sound" (at peace) that it can be. It means I'm learning a new skill or growing in character, and it's a theme I try to carry out in every area of my life.

If you are ordering custom invitations and have already ordered a sample, follow this process:
o r d e r i n g p r o c e s s
1 | Send me an etsy conversation or email me at lostandsoundpaper [!at] gmail.com for a custom price quote. Be sure to let me know how many invitations you will need and what add-ons you are considering. We'll also discuss colors and wording, which are totally customizable.
2 | Once we've figured out the details, you'll be asked to pay a $25 deposit so I can begin working on your custom designs. This design fee will be subtracted from your order total.
3 | I'll begin working on your custom design and email you digital proofs for your approval. We'll work together until you are totally happy! Every aspect is customizable.
4 | Next I'll create a reserved listing for you to purchase (the order total minus your $25 deposit). After you've purchased the listing, I'll begin the production process. Orders ship within two weeks from final purchase date.
