The print turned out absolutely beautiful! And she even included an actual photograph of the print itself and we plan on framing it and putting it on the wall next to the print itself. I will definitely be purchasing from this artist again without a doubt!

Lost Kat Photography

Hi, I'm Amber Katya Laroche. I travel full time in an RV around the continental US, taking photos and working as a web designer. I hope to make photography my full time job through etsy and my own website.
Photography has been a huge part of my life since high school when I bought my first camera. I really haven't put them down since. I like to experiment with vintage cameras, professional film cameras, as well as high quality digital camera and you'll see a big variety in my shop.
I Graduated from Portland State University in 2008 with a major in liberal arts, focusing on Photography and film (movie) studies and since 2009 I've been on the road.
I grew up in northern Idaho, eastern Washington and western Montana, playing in the forest and running around barefoot. I still love roaming forests, exploring gritty places and old buildings, have appreciation for old cars, and am happiest around nature and animals.

My long term goals include moving overseas and traveling there full time as well yet somehow staying one place long enough to have some gallery shows!

My hobbies include making jewelry, riding a motorcycle, playing with my pets, reading and hiking in nature with a camera glued to my face.

Let me know if you have any questions or requests!

Thanks for checking out my shop!

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer Framing?

All of my prints are shipped unframed, simply due to the high cost of shipping framed artwork. It is a better value for my clients to have their prints framed locally. If you would like guidance on where to find frames I'm happy to help!

If you prefer not to frame, I offer ready-to-hang canvas wraps here: http://etsy.me/27BAVhA

Do you offer returns?

All of my items are custom-made to order and not kept in stock. As such, I only accept returns or exchanges of prints up to size 11x14.

I understand that large-format artwork is an investment, so if you would like a small proof print before purchasing a canvas or metal print, let me know!

How should I care for my new art?

It's always a good idea to keep prints and canvases out of direct sun as it can prematurely age them. Moisture in a room can also warp an image if they're unframed. For tapestries, cold wash on gentle cycle and tumble dry with no heat is best.

How large can an image be printed?

I can print in almost any size you want with most images. If they are film, I scan them at a very high DPI, if digital, I can go as high as 60x60 inches - higher if converted to a smoother, watercolor effect.

Do you sell wholesale?

All of my prints are available for wholesale in any size, or as gift cards. Hard goods are not available for mass production at the moment but possibly in the future.

Do you offer gift wrapping or gift notes?

If requested I can include a custom note with a print, canvas or home decor item. Just let me know what you want me to write!

Do you ship internationally?

I do! Shipping can be expensive internationally so I try to keep costs low for everyone. I ship prints in cardboard tubes and have done this several times with no issues or damage. Shipping things like tapestries, pillows and canvas prints however is another thing. Please contact me ahead of time if you want an accurate estimate on shipping. In some cases I can have my work printed in your country and sent directly to you from there. The cost of customs fees in your country is unknown to me so you might research this before ordering as well.
