About

Hand Forged Silver Jewelry

Why do I make jewelry? Of course, I love the creative process—seeing a design in my mind, sketching and planning the piece, and finally forming the metal into something beautiful. But more than all of that, I live for the moment a women tries on a piece of my jewelry and her eyes light up. The design has made a connection to something within her.

While designing, I find myself returning to uplifting themes that become almost like talismans, reminding me of the positive things in my life. Beautiful lotus flowers are a link to that part of me that is centered and thankful, while birds encourage me to let my ideas take flight.

So Namaste. I bow to the divine spark in you. I hope you find a piece in my shop that speaks to you and your unique spark.

A Note about Copper Jewelry:
I use a museum quality wax on my most of my copper pieces to provide some protection from the environment. Over time, however, copper will age to a rich brown color. This patina can be quite beautiful when polished to a luster finish using a jewelry cloth intended for silver. To keep copper jewelry shiny, I recommend storing it in sealed Ziploc bags.

Surface Patina:
Some pieces have been treated with liver of surfer to darken and add depth to surface details. Please take care when cleaning and avoid harsh cleaners that can remove this intentional darkening. Keeping the piece dry will also help preserve the patina.
