My passion for art began at University when I literally stumbled upon Fashion Design - not something I had even thought about before but I was so bored with my A-levels that I was desperate to do something different and this was the only course with any spaces left! I think that must have been divine intervention, as from there, I went on to graduate from the Royal College of Art with a Masters in Fashion Design. My design jobs have taken me all over the world from London to Sydney, and many places in-between. I have been lucky enough to work with fantastically creative people and gather wonderful inspiration.
After I had my second child I grew tired of the raging chaos machine that is the fashion industry, luckily my husband was given opportunity to move Switzerland, so we packed up the house and jumped ship to Zurich where I had my third (and last!) child.

I have always driven my husband nuts with my craft bits and pieces, spilling from every draw, cupboard and shelf (he is an Engineer -he only needs a pen and pencil apparently!)
But I love to collect things 'just in case' for a craft project that has be completed instantly!
I started out on this little journey by doing a market stall for my kids school Fete, I made 'cookies in jar' and Paper houses with home-made shortbread and cookie bags. I sold everything! This spurred me on, and I did many more markets selling more House boxes with baked goodies and also started my 'No scissor No glue' craft for kiddies. These craft packs were a joy to make and compile, I loved that they looked like they were bought from a shop but were completely hand made.
I am constantly trying to create new and interesting crafts and ornaments I can sit for hours watching the world go by, just crafting away......
Every piece I make has had 100% love and attention and I take great care that it is the best it can be. I love my 'job' and I hope my work brings a smile to your face.
