WHY ALERT WEAR?

Alert Wear products are made in a dedicated studio by the parents of two children with multiple life threatening food allergies and asthma. Why is this important? When we first started making these cases it was because we couldn't find proper cases for our kids to self carry their meds. Now, the market is inundated with cases which is wonderful but, also a bit concerning. When you buy an Alert Wear case, you can be rest assured that it was made specifically for adults and children with life threatening food, environmental allergies and asthma. We do also make cases for a variety or other medicines thanks to many parents who have worked with us to make the perfect case for their child. Each case is sized to fit and protect specific medicines. Hands are washed and materials are protected from all major food and environmental allergens. There are no fragrances, chemicals, pets or smoke in our studio. We do however use elastic which contains latex and a film on some embroidery projects that contains corn. If you let us know ahead of time, we will do our best to prevent cross contamination, however, they will be processed on the same machines so, there are no guarantees.

We are very knowledgeable of the laws that allow children to self carry meds in school and civil rights of people dealing with asthma and life threatening allergies. We are more than happy to help in any way that we can to navigate these areas of concern with you. We often spend much of our days advocating for and supporting families who are dealing with these issues like we have for ourselves and our kids for the past 20+ years.

With all that said, we stand behind our products, however, we cannot accept returns or exchanges due to the safety of all of our customers. If a product is defective, we will of course work with you to make it right. We do allow for order cancellations if made within the first 24 hours after your order is placed. We do also send mock ups for custom orders before the item is made.

SHIP TIMES AND DEADLINES

**Ready 2 Ship Cases ship typically within 1-2 business days
** Pre-Designed - Everything is cut and partially complete. We just need sizing details to customize the case. These cases are worked into the current batches and are processed with like items. They will ship typically in 2-3 weeks.

**Spring Break Orders are due by January 1st to ship by March 1st
**Summer Orders are due by April 15th to ship by June 15th.
**Back to School Orders are due by June 15th to ship by August 15th.
**Christmas Orders are due by October 10th to ship by December 15th

Custom Orders - Everything is completely made from scratch. You design it. These cases are shipped from our studio 8 weeks from the order date in most cases. Every order receipt has a ship by date on it. If you have a specific date that you need an item by, please send us a message *first* to see if it is possible before you order. On occasion, we do have rush slots available but, to be fair to others, we do charge extra for rush orders.

CUSTOM DESIGNS

Every case is custom made to fit your child, the medicine and their preferences for fabrics, colors and designs. It is imperative that you complete the design forms with complete and accurate information to ensure that the case is a perfect fit. If you are not finding exactly what you are looking for, whether you saw it on our facebook page or in a dream, please ask first before randomly picking something to order. If you don't see something that looks remotely like what you are expecting (i.e. you want a backpack and you are looking at a listing for purses), PLEASE, do not order a purse and expect a backpack. Fabric, thread colors, embroidery designs can usually be customized, sewing patterns not so much. It takes a lot of fails before we perfect a new pattern. Please ask first before ordering. In slower seasons (January), we are more able to recreate the wheel and come up with new sewing patterns but, definitely not in peak seasons.
