Announcement   Hello,

My name is Jamie. Welcome to my shop. Here you will find a collection of items that I enjoy making. It may look like a bit of a mish mash at times, but it is telling of my personality.

Originally I started with up cycled children's clothing as a desire to offer my children, as well as other children, the opportunity to express their personalities through fun, colourful clothing, as well as being gentle on the planet. This is still a love of mine, but it has taken a backseat while I focus on moccasin making.

I have always had a passion for footwear. In fact it is not unusual for me to meet new people and check out their feet before even looking at their face!! This lead to a desire to make moccasins. Once I learned this wonderful art, I have not been able to stop. I absolutely love every step involved in making moccasins. From meeting my customers, to cutting, punching, sewing and mailing out each custom pair. The smell of the leather is intoxicating, and it is not unusual to find me gently cradling my hides as I bring them out (not in a weird, creepy way, but a respectful, and grateful way).

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I love meeting new people and sharing my process :)

I was fortunate to grow up in a family of talented artists. I grew up painting, drawing, dancing, beading, weaving, sewing etc.. My rich culture has influenced me and my creativity.

Welcome to my shop!!
I am a mother of 3 beautiful boys who have decided to home school. In my precious spare time I love to sew, and create something new out of something old. Textures, fabrics and colors are my inspiration, as well as being gentle on the earth.

I come from a family of artists and athletes, but never felt that I fit into either category even though I have always enjoyed doing crafts like making necklaces, beading, weaving and making clothes for my dolls. It has just occurred to me that crafting is an art. So I do fit in after all:)

I was inspired by my kids to make blankets and clothes because I wanted to express each of their individual personalities. Each blanket is unique as they are made from repurposed, recycled materials. My aunt has generously offered to do the original Kwakwaka'wakw designs for my blankets. So each blanket is a work of art.

I hope you enjoy your visit and find something irresistible for you little love.
