Payment is due at the time of your purchase, unless otherwise agreed upon with me.
ShadeTree studio ships first class via USPS, if you would like faster shipping contact us before your purchase to adjust the shipping rate accordingly. We ship as quickly as our busy schedule will allow, typically within 1-3 days, often the next day.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they give us the correct address, and an address that can accept parcels. If the parcel is deemed undeliverable (through no fault of our own), then the customer is responsible for paying additional shipping charges to have the item resent. If the customer chooses a refund instead, then the refund will be the full amount minus the cost of shipping.
We are not responsible for damaged and/or lost packages. However we are more then happy to insure your packages as per the post offices fees, please contact me before your purchase to arrange appropriate insurance/delivery notification. Please be aware that we cannot be responsible for lost packages in the mail if you have not chosen to insure them, no exceptions! Sorry! :-)
Refunds and Exchanges
We cannot cover damages or losses. This means if the post office loses or damages your package in transit we cannot be liable for it, we can only insure it's safe delivery to the post office. If the mistake was ours IE wrong items sent or forgotten item please contact us immediately and we will do our best remedy the matter.
-Damages: If you receive your package and it looks like it has been tampered with or opened, PLEASE take pictures of the package first before you start to open it.
LOSSES: We will not consider a package lost until 30 days after it has been shipped. Some packages seem to take the 'long way around' for mysterious reasons, but still show up within 30 days. After 30 days, contact us and it will be discussed between you the customer and us whether it is appropriate to re-send, refund.
* In many cases it may be appropriate to file a claim with the USPS or Paypal for the cost of your lost order.
You must contact us within a 3 days of the delivery of your order if you wish to return your purchase. Items must be returned (at your expense) unused and in the original packaging. You must let us know you are returning the item(s) before you ship it.
ELIGIBLE ITEMS: Wrong items sent to you by us. Items that arrived broken due to our mishandling of the packaging. This does not include orders that were damaged by the mail carrier.
FEES:* Shipping fees will not be refunded as well as fees incurred by us from Paypal or credit cards. You may also be charged a $10 restocking fee.
Additional Policies and FAQs
If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please send us a message asap and let us know before you leave feedback. We cannot resolve the matter if we don't know about it.
I will hold a reserve listing for 48hrs after the agreed upon purchase time. After this point it will expire and your items will go back into my shop listings without a reserve name on them. This means you may miss the opportunity to get that item if someone else buys it first.
All use of our website/Etsy Shop must be lawful and not injurious to any third party. You must not copy the content or images contained within our web pages for commercial or personal purposes without the written consent of ShadeTree Studio. You must also not use our website in any way that undermines the credibility of ShadeTree Studio.
