Welcome to LovelyVaseAndThings. It seems every time I'm shopping, be it an antique store or an estate sale, there seems to be a vase in my hands. I just can't resist. When I worked as a florist and flower grower, clients brought us their lovely containers to fill. Floral arrangements or English gardens filled urns, pots, vases, epergnes, wicker baskets and unusual items like fresh pumpkins, cornucopias, pitchers, wall sconces and more. Each one was transformed with the freshness of nature.

With my hands in buckets of fresh flowers or potting soil, I soon developed the vision to see containers and vessels in a new light. It became easy to imagine how beautiful they would be filled. From simple milk glass to Chinese pottery, every one of them is lovely.

If you admire a vase or container on my page, I'm happy to offer you suggestions on what would look great in it and even how to arrange it or put a live plant in it and be successful.

Of course, when I am shopping, sometimes I can't pass up a lovely item that is not a vase. I share those in my shop as well.

Since I've no more room in my own home for vases- and I've acquired a bunch- I'm now shopping for you.
