Welcome, friends. I believe in making art that makes me happy, and if it makes other people happy, all the better. It means a great deal to me to support handmade - when people are given an opportunity to explore their creative side, the results are always interesting.

When starting any project, I always try to think about what I would like to wear, or I would like to see. I realize that not everyone is going to like or appreciate what I make, but that's the great thing about art. For me, making art is necessary - it's a release, it's Zen, it makes me happy to produce something beautiful. I believe that my world (and your world) should be filled with lovely things.

I see each piece I create as a work of art. We hang art on our walls, and place art on the shelves, put sculptures on pedestals, and that’s where many pieces stay. I don’t think that art should be limited to those constraints, and my goal is to create art for our bodies – so that each day we can partake in making ourselves artful, and each day we expose others to art.

Unless the listing indicates that the piece is ready to ship, all pieces are made to order. Allow one to two weeks to create the piece, although it may take less time. If you have a deadline when you need to receive your headpiece, please contact me BEFORE purchasing. I'm usually pretty stocked on feathers, but the padding of time is so I may acquire the feathers I need in case I don't have them on hand.

Returns and exchange details
I typically will not accept returns or exchanges, but I want you to be happy. If you feel that an item has been misrepresented, or you're just not feeling it, let me know. Return shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer, and returns or exchanges will be honored within two (2) days of receipt of package.

The only exceptions for returns are for anything purchased in person at an art market or festival, or custom items. If you saw me in person and got a chance to see the piece, try it on and wear it, that item cannot be returned. If you request a custom item that is made specifically for you, that item cannot be returned.
I accept Paypal - which is the most convenient. With Paypal, you can use a check, credit card or direct transfer. Once payment is receieved, I will send out your item. If you prefer to mail check or money order, once I receive it, I will email you to let you know that it is received, and once it clears, I will mail out your item.

If for some reason you purchase an item, and then change your mind, please let me know within one day and I will cancel the sale, no problem.
I ship everything with USPS (US Postal Service) from New Orleans, LA. If there are questions about the amount of time it will arrive to you, this can easily be looked up on There are some pieces that only list costs to ship within the U.S., and that is because it is often hard for me to know how much to ship to different countries and costs vary so widely depending on the country. I am happy to provide you a shipping quote if you are outside the U.S. - please convo me and I'll get back to you asap.

Sometimes things get damaged or lost in the mail. so if you want extra assurance, purchase insurance. If you would like to purchase insurance, please let me know.

This shop will not be held responsible if an item is lost in the mail, or if your shipping is delayed by no fault of my own. ALL items ship with tracking information, and once an item ships and leaves my shop, it is no longer my responsibility and out of my hands. Absolutely no refunds will be made if your item is lost or late.
