Love What You Do

Who doesn't want to have fun with what they do? I always knew I wanted the type of job that would allow me to have fun and love what I do. Being an artist allows me just that! While working as a freelance illustrator I was also looking for an additional creative outlet. Etsy allows me that. The fact that I can create illustrations for cards and sell them for people to enjoy worldwide has become both satisfying and rewarding.

As a kid I drew all the time and would often draw things for classmates and family members. After attending college and a specialty drawing school called the Dalvero Academy both my art and creative perspective evolved. I knew I wanted to create personal things that would make people smile, laugh and just feel better about life. I soon found myself creating custom drawings, cards, and illustrating poems and books for people when it was their birthday or if they were going through a hard time.

It all started last December when I decided to do a few Christmas Cards. I couldn't believe the joy and excitement I felt while I was doing them and when I made my first sale! I knew I had found something that I really loved doing. This was the creative outlet I had been looking for.

A Love Of Drawing is not only an illustration and design studio but also an online shop that specializes in creating custom and holiday themed cards featuring African-American children.

I would love to welcome you all to A Love Of Drawing, a company founded in 2013 by me, Danielle McManus-Sladek and my husband Karel Sladek. Our company specializes in hand drawn papers goods and illustrations that are always drawn with a touch of love.

Below you'll find my shop's policies to make sure your transaction with me is as easy as possible. Thank you for stopping by. -Danielle

Accepted payment methods

Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Returns and exchanges
A Love Of Drawing is truly a handmade process therefore no two items are exactly alike. There will be minor differences in color, etc due to computer monitors and photography, but I promise to deliver a beautiful handmade item free from damages.

If you are truly unhappy with the item and would like to return it, I will refund you the cost of the item only, not the shipping. You will need to pay to ship it back to me. I recommend first class mail as an inexpensive option.

Do not send a return without first contacting me. Please let me know that you're sending a return, and I will gladly refund your money when I receive the item back. undamaged and complete.
Payment
I accept Paypal and direct checkout.

Payment is expected within 24 hours after you have purchased an item.

I will do everything I can, but if payment hasn't gone through I reserve the right to cancel your order. However if you contact me I will be happy to work with you.
Shipping
Processing times vary from 1-5 business days depending on the items you have ordered.

Items are shipped by USPS First Class Mail and will be shipped to the address listed in Paypal unless otherwise noted.

I will send a confirmation email as soon as your item is shipped. A tracking number will always be provided.

Expedited order processing and shipping is available for an additional cost if you contact me to make arrangements.
