Announcement   Current production time is about 10 business days (Business days are M-F) to complete orders. That means about two weeks before items are ready to ship.

Your ship by date is estimated above the price during checkout, as you're paying, and is always on your invoice, located under "you" at the top right of your screen, then under "purchases and reviews" in the drop-down menu. No changes can be made to the ship by date without Etsy sending the buyer a notification. Your order will ship on or before this date. When it ships you will receive notification from Etsy, with the delivery confirmation/tracking. A link to tracking is also with your invoice under purchases.

If you need something rushed, please contact me before purchase. It may not be possible, or there may be a rush fee, or materials I need to order that will effect the earliest possible shipping date.

Default shipping is USPS first class, most customers prefer the cheapest option. If you'd like it to arrive faster PLEASE choose a shipping upgrade during checkout and select PRIORITY.

Priority packages will ship in a small flat rate priority box or bubble envelope. Priority should usually take 2-3 USPS business days to arrive, but can occasionally take a bit longer, depending on the post office. If they have delays this is completely beyond my control.

ABOUT FIRST CLASS SHIPPING DELAYS- The post office has been taking a long time since 2015 shipping my 1st class packages, with many of my packages sitting in Jacksonville FL (3 hours away) for about 6 days, because USPS Ocala closed a sort facility and USPS Jacksonville absorbed their mail. I've been selling on Etsy since 2007 and have never seen such long first class shipping delays on a regular basis anywhere else I've lived. PLEASE ORDER A SHIPPING UPGRADE IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE SOUND OF THE POTENTIAL HANGUP IN JAX. Many customers prefer the cheaper option, but please at least be aware of the above. You have 3 available shipping options!

Feathers have a special meaning for me so I have bought a few pieces with them but sometimes they tend to look like leaves. This ring is do detailed...no mistaking that it is a feather. I love it!!!! Thank you :)

Not only did my ring arrive super quickly and in a lovely little box, but it's everything I hoped it would be: beautifully crafted, solid silver. Just gorgeous! Size was perfect too. Great customer experience. Perfect birthday present to myself!

About

A handmade business, dedicated to my family...

My name is Jen. I'm 42. I'm one of those left-handed Aquarius always-been-an-artist types. My university training was primarily in fashion design, but I took the one class I had in metalwork 25 years ago and ran with it, teaching myself over the last 5 years.

I like simple.

I wear basic jean capri's and a black tank top almost every day. The only jewelry I wear is a hammered band on my wedding finger, and a treasure coin from the shipwreck of the Atocha. Occasionally something made by my mom or older daughter. I only own 3 pairs of shoes.

Hammers though, I'll collect those. A girl can never have too many tools.

I've been selling on Etsy since 2007, the year my first daughter was born, when I moved here from that big auction site because my sales were better on Etsy.

I've supported myself and my daughters with an Etsy shop since I became a full-time seller in 2010.

I create jewelry, with my hands and heart, a hammer and a torch. Some one of a kind pieces, though fewer these years with little ones at home. Some pieces so basic you can find them everywhere. Rings are my niche, for no particular reason I can name, I just enjoy making them.

What better reason is there?

Making jewelry puts a roof over our heads and food in our bellies. My daughters, age 8 and 1 and a 1/2, have a mom who is always home when they need her. If someone's sick, I can be with them and work when they sleep. Or a day later.

My customers here mean the world to me. Aside from the amazing words of appreciation and encouragement about my work, They give me the ability to be fully present in my daughter's lives, and not leave home to work. No day care. No sitters. (An amazing stay at home dad also helps! So does him being back at work now :)

I love being at the bench. Even if I'm not in a mood to fill orders, the "work" - cutting, filing, bending wire, having the torch in my hands - it all clears my mind. It's nothing like what we tend to think of as "work".

I create because I have to, something inside compels me. It puts me at ease, just making the simplest of pieces.

It centers me.

I'm blessed and grateful to be able to make a living with my hands.

My family is sacred, and this shop is dedicated to them in every way.

I treasure every one of you who have made it possible <3

My daughter Amelia, loves to look through my jewelry and give advise. "Mom, you need more hearts" or "Mom, you HAVE to make feather rings!" or of course "mom, you should get rid of that" No-one can give heartfelt advise like an 8 year old :)

June is now 1 and 1/2, and she LOVES checking over the packages before they ship. She carefully stacks and un-stacks the Priority boxes, and tries to read the labels and makes sure everything is on track to reach it's destination :)
