About

Finding hidden treasures in an antique steamer trunk

If shops had a prequel, this would be mine. It's the work I meant to do before I got sidetracked with modern designs. This is the backstory on how my life as a crafter came to be.

For many years I have been lugging around a large (and heavy) green trunk (TGAT) my grandfather gave to my grandmother in 1925 as a wedding present. My family stows away keepsakes and treasures such as hand embroidered napkins and black and white photos. My grandma was the first person to teach me how to cook and sew and has been my inspiration in developing my love for handmade.

I have been an ETSY seller since 2008. This year I decided to move my vintage inspired items over from first jewelry shop https://www.LoveYourBling.etsy.com to TGAT to make it more cohesive. The shop sections are divided into themes, making it more organized. My destash store is https://www.LoveYourSupplies.etsy.com. I hope you find a timeless treasure here in my Green Antique Trunk.
