What Happens in The Tiny Garden

It is so great to be here and thanks for stopping by. I was first introduced to the world of Etsy when I stumbled upon a plushie book at Barnes & Noble. Several of the artists in the book mentioned their Etsy shops and here we are now, 11 years later.

You may previously know me as Lowell and Son. The "son" of Lowell and Son is all grown up now and is in college and has a job so I thought I would change my shop name to reflect more of myself and my passions which are crafting and gardening.

I started out making plush kitties and bears but have since branched out to many other things. I have made cat toys and currently make yarn pom pom garlands, offer pom poms on their own, sell craft eyes as supplies and sew fun tactile quilts. I have been offering heirloom quality hand sewn felt Christmas ornaments since 2009 and come out with additional designs each holiday season. If you have ordered from me in the past and are interested in one of the above items but don't see it in my shop please feel free to convo me with a request.

    • Leslie

      Owner, Maker, Designer, Curator

My name is Leslie and I currently work as a medical receptionist.. I like to sew by machine and by hand, read-read-read and work in my TINY garden in my free time. I never met anything sparkly that I didn't like!

    • Sammy

      Yarn Supervisor

Sam joined our family quite a few years ago via Purrfect Pals, a local kitty adoption shelter. She is 19ish and her favorite cat toy is a laser so she unfortunately makes a poor cat toy tester. We will keep her any way...

    • Lacey the Cat

      Cat Toy Tester

Lacey was my official cat toy tester. Unfortunately we lost her to old age and illness quite a few years ago. We miss her everyday.
