My name is Lucky, I've been making jewelry from coins and other items since 2015. My wife/business partner and I have had this Etsy shop since 2012 when we were in a band & sold CDs & mustache wax here. We started selling jewelry on Etsy in 2020.

  • Lucy

My name is Lucy. I manage all of our online activities. I assist with some of the curating and making of jewelry and accessories we sell, but mostly responsible for taking photos, videos, marketing, social media, putting orders together, etc.

Frequently asked questions

I accept refunds (see refund policy) minus cost of shipping both ways.
Whether you paid for shipping or received free shipping on your order, the shipping cost will be subtracted from your total amount you paid. We do not refund paid shipping or free shipping amounts (sorry for the inconvenience, we just can't afford to lose money on shipping due to refunded items).
Buyer is also responsible for cost of shipping when returning the item. We ask that you provide us with a tracking number to ensure that we can both see when it is returned to us. We are not responsible for items getting lost in the mail and cannot offer refunds if we do not receive the item. Buyer will be responsible for figuring that out with their shipping service.

Can you make something out of my own coins?

Contact us and let us know what type of coins you have.
Then look through our Instagram page and our shop to see what styles we make.
Once we see how many coins you'd like to incorporate in your piece(s) and what type and size they are, we can give suggestions and send photos back to you to show you examples.

Is it illegal to deface currency?

No, it is not illegal to make jewelry out of coins. It is illegal to deface US currency if the intent is fraudulent, for example to continue to use it as legal tender after it has been altered. The purpose of the law is to prevent counterfeiting and fraud and does not apply to objects made out of currency whether for sale or not.

Section 331 of Title 18 of the United States code provides more details on that.

Are these real, genuine coins that you use?

Yes, with only a few exceptions. For the most part, we work with real, genuine coins that were in circulation. Some coins we work with are commemorative issues (never in circulation), like our .999 fine silver and fine copper pieces. We always include this type of info in the item description. But feel free to contact us to confirm or clarify.

Do you make everything in your shop?

Yes! I make everything you see in our shop. I am constantly tinkering and coming up with new ideas and designs. I am always eager to learn more and more about metalsmithing and growing as an artist/metalsmith. I love having a bonkers variety available and love to offer niche products.

How do I know which of your rings/bracelets/etc. are "for men" or "for women"?

All our pieces are gender neutral and can often be customized to suit your tastes.

When you say "silver" does that mean "sterling silver"?

Coins that are silver are generally 90% silver & 10% copper (.900 silver).

Sterling silver is 92.5% silver & 7.5% copper (.925 silver).

Only a few of our silver items have less silver content. See the product details to be clear about the composition of each piece.

And then a few of our items are sterling silver (certain coins were minted that way). While some even have more silver content than sterling which will be labeled as ".999 fine silver" (99.9% silver).

How can I ensure I order the correct ring size?

We have reusable, at-home ring sizers available for sale. When you purchase one of these, we include a $2 off coupon (so once you order a ring with us, you are only paying for shipping cost and getting the ring sizer for FREE).

If you are getting as a surprise gift and don't know the ring size, we will include a free ring sizer with the ring and instructions on how to resize with us.

See our Resizing Service listing for more info.

Do you sell your pieces anywhere else?

Since 2016 we've been mainly selling in-person at various festivals and art shows. On the weekends we usually set up at the Downtown Roanoke City Market here in Virginia where we live. But since early 2020 we've moved strictly online until further notice. You can also find out more about us and shop on our website:
All purchases made directly on our website will include a FREE gift (starting 1/1/2021).

When will my order be shipped?

More than likely we can get an order in the mail 1-3 business days. Our listings are marked with a longer "ship by" date (3-5 business days) for most of our items. Some items are made to order and can take longer (up to about 2 weeks). Each listing is marked accordingly but just know that we do our best to get orders out early rather than towards the end of the time frame. Contact us with specific questions.
