Announcement Welcome to Lucky Ducky Designs! I love making fun, stylish, high quality items. I started with baby accessories, aprons and headbands over a decade ago and have added the covered notebooks and other items through the years. In 2014, I wanted to add more artistic, unique items and came up with what we call the Inspiration line. These items contain a word of inspiration and a picture, all free motion stitched and include covered notebooks, pillows, wall art, wrist cuffs and key fobs. These items are all unique, even if pictures are repeated. Due to their one of a kind nature these items are not available during shows. Contact me if you are interested in these items, that may not be currently listed.

I have a couple of these from about 8 years ago. I love them on each of their hats, and wanted to be able to swap them out. The quality is still fantastic and the colors are exactly what I wanted!!

Half of my booth at one of my favorite shows - Hobnob! I love meeting people at shows.
My notebooks are a popular gift item.

Everyday Accessories - Extraordinary Style

OK, so do you have one of those things that you don't really remember learning how to do, it just seems as if you have always done it? Well for me, that was sewing. I do remember in Jr. high home-ec class when everyone else was making a skirt with an elastic waist, I made skirt pants and vest that I actually wore. Then my first job in high school was working in a fabric store, so maybe it was inevitable. I made most of my own clothes in college. But when I graduated and didn't need to make my clothes anymore, nor did I have the time, the sewing didn't happen for a while. After I got married and we bought our first house, the urge returned and I made a lot of things for the house as well as discovering my love of quilting. It wasn't until the arrival of our daughter in 2003, that the true inspiration came. Throw in staying at home, but still having the desire to do something more than the most wonderful job of being mom. That's when the business was born.

I truly have a love of fabric. The feel of it, the colors, the patterns, the way it looks so great in one big piece, but is screaming to be made into so many different things. OK, so maybe I'm an addict, but hopefully my fabric addiction leads to your happiness with our products.
