Hello, I'm Donna Goes, an artist, designer, collector, maker, scavenger and former toy designer. I love finding new uses for old things. And I have a thing for rusty metal and fabrics.
I began making the pillows and pouches offered here after moving to Hull several years ago. Vintage postcards of Nantasket Beach and Paragon Park brought back childhood memories and I thought a pillow or two with these nostalgic images would make a great addition to our new place. I soon began selling them at Hull Artists Open Studio events and have been doing so for the last several summers. You can check out upcoming events at www.hullartists.com

I also have many art interests and love trying new things. My latest obsession is collecting plastic bags destined for landfill. I layer them between parchment paper and fuse with an iron. Then I cut and re-melt until an image emerges. It’s like collage but instead of paper, I use plastic. www.luckylifestudio.com
