With the proper guidelines of use, they allow the individual to connect with the Universal Healing Energy and use this energy to heal people of all of their complaints, imbalances and disease.

I have so much fun creating fun little leather bracelets, done in the mystery braid. This listing for a custom request will depend on the colors of hydes I can purchase in your choice of natural or chestnut. Black is not available at this time. Bracelet measures 8 1/2 inches long x 1/2 wide and fits my 6 1/4 wrist with a teensy bit of wiggle room. Please measure your wrist before purchasing to be sure it will fit your wrist.
This mystery bracelet will be adorned with good luck charms. Everyone can use a little extra help once in a while. The Charms being used will be silver and bronze toned, Hamsa, Evil Eye,Crosses, Angels, Wish Bone, Four Leaf Clover, Infinity Symbol as well as the Buddha and the OHM. You can request special charms and I will be happy to create what will become you lucky amulet.

SYMBOLS/GOOD LUCK CHARMS AND THEIR HISTORY

HAMSA & EVIL EYE
As to whether it is appropriate to use the Hamsa with the fingers pointing up or down, it depends upon whether you wish for protection against the evil eye, or for luck and success. With the fingers pointed up, the Hamsa symbolizes a "stop sign" to the adversary, in other words, for protection. With the fingers pointed down, the Hamsa symbolizes God's goodness and blessings coming down to the wearer or to the room where it is hung. The interpretation of the Hamsa is for the individual who owns it. . It is also known as the Hand of Fatima. Levantine Christians call it the Hand of Mary, for the mother of Jesus. Following its incorporation into Jewish tradition via its widespread use in the Islamic world, it was also renamed the hand of Miriam for Miriam, sister of Moses.

Buddha
In about the sixth century B.C. Siddhartha Gautama was born into a royal family. When he was a young adult his experiences with the outside world drove him to seek out a greater understanding of life and spiritual fulfillment. Through seeking guidance and meditation, Siddhartha achieved Enlightenment. From that point, he was known as the Buddha, which means 'Enlightened One'. For the rest of his life, the Buddha traveled great distances teaching people about one path to salvation. After the Buddha's death, his pupils continued to spread his teachings. Buddhism developed at a time when Hinduism, the most widespread religion in India, had become tightly controlled by priests and the upper classes. Buddhism offered hope and access to spiritual understanding and satisfaction to ordinary people. Throughout the world today, people still follow the teachings of the Buddha.

Horseshoe:
One of the reasons that finding a horseshoe was considered lucky is that many horseshoes were made of iron. Iron was a valuable metal back in the old days when money was hard to come by and supplies even more so.
If you stumbled upon an iron horseshoe, you could either re-use the shoe itself, or melt the metal down for creating a brand new metal object. Finding an iron horseshoe was indeed a lucky event as it increased your prosperity.

OHM and the Lotus Flower
The ohm symbol is a sacred symbol in Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism. It is used during meditation and it has many meanings. It is said to represent the sound of the Earth and the very sound of creation, thus, it represents the ultimate power, the divine, and the eternal.

I'm smiling in this picture because the bride, my best friend, has always supported me in everything I do. She has been invaluable to me while working out the kinks of opening a shop. I love her strength and I always want to have her by my side. <3

I feel that the Law of Attraction is why Lucky Peacock Gems was the name I chose to name my store.I feel blessed and lucky and with that, indisputably, my hand crafted items will embody that feeling by using lucky charms such as, the hamsa, evil eye, crosses, angels, Buddha, ohm, hearts, Jewish stars, moons, and plenty of charms that epitomize peace, love, unity and good wishes.

These spiritual items will be amulets, good luck charms, and items that are positive in energy. I primarily use Swarvoski Crystals, Leather (real or imitated), sterling silver, as well as, non-lead-non nickel based alloyed charms.

As I have infinity for animals, I will be using charms to make many a pet lover happy. If anything can exhibit love and positive energy, it's an animal.

I look forward to being able to take a percentage of the animal jewelry earned and donate it to my favorite animal shelters.
