Lucky Staar Jewelry, Original Handmade Jewelry
I started Lucky Staar Jewelry 2007, but my journey to becoming a jewelry designer and artist started long before that! Way back in 2002, I was working hard doing something I did not enjoy...I was successful, but miserable! One day I woke up and thought "Why am I not doing something I love"? So I thought about what I loved...beauty, nature and being creative... first I envisioned just selling supplies so I could enjoy searching for the beautiful treasures of the earth...but my creativity took over and I couldn't stop making jewelry! Over the years I have tried to change what I do to fit in or to follow trends, but I have learned that as an artist, you just have to be yourself, do what you do and do it the best you can. So I just do what I do...love it or leave it!
At this point I create the jewlery here on Lucky Staar ETSY myself. I have tried having a couple items cast for me, but I found that I prefer the individually hand-forged pieces. I have two assistants that occasionally help me with final assembly and shipping, however, I still do all soldering, forging and hammering myself. I have a studio in my home where I create the jewelry as it is ordered.

Custom Items: If it is a custom item with an inscription or stamping that was made especially for you, I can not accept a return as I can not resell the item. However, I will do whatever I can to resize or recustomize the item and make you happy with it . I want you happy!! Let's work it out together!
If we can not come to an agreement on an exchange, I will refund your money. I consider this a last resort, as I took time in good faith to make a custom piece of jewelry, but I know it is hard to buy on line.
**When considering the return of a piece of handmade jewelry, please be considerate and remember the time, effort and materials it took to make the piece.**

Shipping
For international orders I will complete a customs form and mark the item as 'other'. I will write crafts on the receipt. Please contact me if there are any special customs requirements for your country! I can not mark the item 'gift'...it is not legal! I do not include a receipt in international orders unless specifically requested.
International shipping rates and times have changed. If you want a faster shipment, the prices are high with only a few flat rate options that go to limited locations. My suggestion for international orders is if you need it by a certain time allow at least 3 weeks for delivery. Some locations will take less (usually 1-2 weeks) others will take more. If you really need it fast and want to pay the extra shipping, you can choose one of the upgraded shipping options provided. I know they are expensive, but it is all we've got!
