About

Lucky Staar Jewelry, Original Handmade Jewelry

I started Lucky Staar Jewelry 2007, but my journey to becoming a jewelry designer and artist started long before that! Way back in 2002, I was working hard doing something I did not enjoy...I was successful, but miserable! One day I woke up and thought "Why am I not doing something I love"? So I thought about what I loved...beauty, nature and being creative... first I envisioned just selling supplies so I could enjoy searching for the beautiful treasures of the earth...but my creativity took over and I couldn't stop making jewelry! Over the years I have tried to change what I do to fit in or to follow trends, but I have learned that as an artist, you just have to be yourself, do what you do and do it the best you can. So I just do what I do...love it or leave it!

At this point I create the jewlery here on Lucky Staar ETSY myself. I have tried having a couple items cast for me, but I found that I prefer the individually hand-forged pieces. I have two assistants that occasionally help me with final assembly and shipping, however, I still do all soldering, forging and hammering myself. I have a studio in my home where I create the jewelry as it is ordered.

Thank you for visiting. I hope you enjoy my shop!

Thank you for visiting my shop! I love to make and create jewelry and you are seeing my creative evolution in this shop. I am always learning or doing something new, so my shop may seem a bit eclectic...but that's what keeps it interesting for me. Hope it is for you! I love to create that is both beautiful and wearable. Best of all, I do what I love for a living. Think about what you love...dream about it...then do it!

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
Payment is expected at the time of purchase.
Shipping
Orders will be shipped out via USPS First Class mail. Orders within the USA will be shipped with delivery confirmation.

For international orders I will complete a customs form and mark the item as 'other'. I will write crafts on the receipt. Please contact me if there are any special customs requirements for your country! I can not mark the item 'gift'...it is not legal! I do not include a receipt in international orders unless specifically requested.

International shipping rates and times have changed. If you want a faster shipment, the prices are high with only a few flat rate options that go to limited locations. My suggestion for international orders is if you need it by a certain time allow at least 3 weeks for delivery. Some locations will take less (usually 1-2 weeks) others will take more. If you really need it fast and want to pay the extra shipping, you can choose one of the upgraded shipping options provided. I know they are expensive, but it is all we've got!
Refunds and Exchanges
On most items, I accept returns/exchanges with an exchange being my first preference. Please convo me for procedures. If you are not happy for any reason please contact me as soon as possible so I can do what I can to make you happy.

Custom Items: If it is a custom item with an inscription or stamping that was made especially for you, I can not accept a return as I can not resell the item. However, I will do whatever I can to resize or recustomize the item and make you happy with it . I want you happy!! Let's work it out together!

If we can not come to an agreement on an exchange, I will refund your money. I consider this a last resort, as I took time in good faith to make a custom piece of jewelry, but I know it is hard to buy on line.

**When considering the return of a piece of handmade jewelry, please be considerate and remember the time, effort and materials it took to make the piece.**
