🍁 Here on Etsy it's easy to find creators of all kinds of things, especially jewelry. Because of trends, you may see what looks like the 'same' thing here, as in other shops and vice versa. What is so refreshing is that each one of us has a different vision and style, and even though we may create similar pieces, we do so with our very own flair and attention to details. Everything I create for my shop stems from my own artistic vision, as well as the knowledge and experiences I've gained from making jewelry for over a decade....

I started with teaching myself the things that interested me, and before I knew it I was selling my jewelry to local shops, working craft shows, and even a few home jewelry parties..

All of the beads I use are the best I can afford, and this goes for the metals as well. I mainly use 14k gold filled, sterling silver and I just began using some rose or pink gold filled.

Most if not all of the jewelry I create here is neatly and meticulously made, with special attention given to the smallest of details.. I am all about the details. Those little things we sometimes take for granted, and often miss in the big scheme of things.

My greatest satisfaction - aside from creating jewelry I love - is creating jewelry you will love!

Thank you so much for visiting Lucy Shoppe here on Creating jewelry from start to finish with pride and meticulous attention is what is I have been doing since 2002. What started out as a hobby has turned into an obsession of sorts. I've taught myself how to wrap wire, hot and cold forge, and along the way I've learned a lot about creating different styles of jewelry. I have dabbled in it all!

Your satisfaction is extremely important to me. I thoroughly enjoy making jewelry, but more than this I want you to be thrilled with what you bought. So please .. feel free to ask as many questions as needed! If you're happy with what you bought - let me know... and likewise... if you're unhappy... I would also like to know...

Presently, I accept Paypal as well as some credit cards which are listed at checkout. I apologize but I can no longer accept money orders or personal checks.
Generally, I will ship within one day of the order - sometimes the actual day, depending on the time I receive the order.

Please contact me for priority mail shipping prior to your purchase, (if this method is preferable) and the additional cost will be included in your invoice at checkout. I use first class mail with delivery confirmation, or priority depending on the listing shipping description.

Sometimes the USPS whom I rely on for most if not all of my shipping sometimes cannot locate a package, or in the worse case scenario it is never located. My experience has been that most packages make it to the recipient even after a temporary detour. Everything I ship will always have tracking/delivery confirmation.

I have decided that I will no longer ship internationally even though I have sold to many persons abroad, and have not had issues ...perhaps just a few very slow deliveries. Although until our postal system can provide tracking abroad I will have to keep all sales within the boundaries of our one huge country. So sorry.

Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unhappy with your purchase upon receipt, kindly notify me as soon as possible. Since all of the jewelry I create here is described at length and is hand made, I feel that it behooves the shopper to ask any and all pertinent questions to guarantee that the item purchased will be exactly as what is expected. I encourage all questions, and will gladly supply additional photos if necessary..

I will not be able to provide a full refund although I am happy to offer exchanges. Here are the reasons for this: handmade items are delicate and some of the items I sell are made painstakingly; sometimes taking hours to complete. If I accepted returns as a rule, it would necessitate my having to re-make the returned item because I could not in good conscience simply place it for sale again. The reason being, I have no way of knowing whether the item was accidentally pulled, or mistreated in such a way as to compromise its integrity. And lastly, the hours it took to create the item would now be my time wasted.

Shopping online is not always easy, although I try very hard to show the items I sell in the most realistic or truest lighting. I also describe the item at length, as well as provide measurements to insure that nothing is a mystery. Unfortunately, online shopping is nothing like a brick and mortar shop where one can pick up the item in hand. The choice is up to you.

In the event that an exchange is desired, I request that shipping be paid both ways by the customer, and that the item is returned packaged as it was when it was delivered.

If your item needs to be returned to me because you would like me to repair it, I must ask that you first email me a photo of the damage to assess whether I can repair it or not. If I can do it, I must ask that shipping be paid both ways, and if the repair includes any replacement of clasps, beads or metal, a nominal fee will be charged in addition to the shipping. This is only the case if the item in question was damaged by you. If for example, you were to receive any jewelry which when received was not as described and shown in my listing; again I ask that I be notified as soon as possible or within 3 days of delivery, and I will address the issue in a case by case basis.

**The refund /exchange policy mentioned above applies ONLY to the handmade, handcrafted jewelry which I personally make. All jewelry noted as *vintage* is sold as is and is considered 'Final Sale', UNLESS the item received in some way was inaccurately described in the listing. If this IS the case, I would appreciate being notified as soon as possible, and I assure that every effort will be made to see to an amicable resolution.

Please note that each piece of vintage jewelry I choose to list for sale is described IN FULL as to its functionality, wear, approximate age and overall appearance. The photos provided hopefully aid in seeing the item as clearly as possible. Additionally, all of the prices given each piece are determined by each of the above factors.

I encourage and am always happy to answer any and all questions pertaining to the vintage items I have for sale, as well as all of my handmade jewelry. I will also be happy to provide more photos if necessary, so that a confident and assured purchase can be made which will guarantee that you will love what you bought!

As far as FEEDBACK goes.. I am always thrilled to have a sale and love to read all positive reviews with regard to your buying experience including how you feel about what you bought. As a seller I rely very much on the reviews I receive and aside from personally writing to me, is really the only way your satisfaction and happiness can be communicated to potential buyers as well as the Etsy community. I know when I am shopping for anything, I always read the reviews. It's a safety net for everyone!

If for any reason you are not happy, I hope that you will contact me first before leaving an inflammatory review. If there is an issue, I will make every attempt to solve it to your satisfaction.. All I ask is that you let me know.. :)

Care instructions

Handmade jewelry items are delicate and should be treated with care and respect. My recommendation is that jewelry be removed prior to showering, bathing or other activities which may result in damage or loss.

Custom and personalized orders

I am always happy to answer any questions relating to anything that I sell in the shop. Custom orders, or a design you may have in mind are always welcomed. Please feel free to inquire. I encourage questions and try to answer them as quickly as I can.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I generally ship sold items in my own version of gift wrap.. Although, if an item is purchased to give specifically as a gift, I can always add a little extra ribbon and would be more than happy to also include a note, as well as upgrade the listing to priority shipping. Please simply request prior to purchase.

How long after purchase will my item be shipped?

If the item is not a custom one, and it was purchased before the end of the day - west coast time - then I can usually have it packed and ready to go that day! If it should be purchased by the end of the day or evening, it will go out the very next day.. but not on Saturdays since our post office here is not open for business.

Will I receive the item shown in the listing?

Yes. Sometimes I will re-make a piece which has previously sold, however if the design is slightly different I do re-take a photo of the new piece. But typically, most of the photos depict exactly what you will receive. On the other hand, if the piece chosen needs a different chain, for example, then this is the only difference you can expect.
