About

Happy drawings, crazy animals and other illustrations

I am Lithuanian illustrator creating positive, a little bit naive art with quirky characters inspired by everyday city life, works by modern illustrators and cartoonists, street art and nature. After moving to Australia I reopened my etsy store and now have a lot of great moments here.

How everything started? I've been drawing since childhood. There were ups and downs. But I still don't want to do anything else. And shop... Well, I just got few things done, posted it and there is a shop. Simple.

Every artwork is telling stories and every character becomes alive. Sometimes I can feel them sitting in sketchbooks, hanging out on post-its and watching me. Am I going crazy?

Hello, I'm Luka. I work as graphic designer and illustrator .
I make prints and other objects only with my own illustrations.
Some object as prints are published in more copies, some are limited. Original artworks are one of a kind.

Below is lots of information, PLEASE READ if you have a question - it explains a lot of things :)

Payment
▲ I accept paypal and few other options.
▲ Only when I receive payment I can ship the item.
Shipping
▲ I try to do my best and to ship as soon as possible. Usually I go to post office 3 times a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, mostly at lunch time.

▲ SHIPPING TIMES. Official post times and the times from my experience somehow doesn't match. Australia is far far away in terms of shipping...
Usually it takes 2-3 weeks, but sometimes it needs 4 weeks to US. I don't have the same statistics for every other country, but it is similar. It is faster to New Zealand though and somehow takes longer to Canada :(. Shipping times in Australia are pretty accurate - I send via Auspost, so you can see estimated time depending on your state in their website. Oh and if you're reading this before buying, I want to thank you and there is a discount code to use in your purchase for 5% off: HAPPYPOLICIES (Till 2018) :)

▲ PACKING. I pack all prints and cards with the cardboard and if it is A3 - place it in a tube. Some postman squeeze mail into small post boxes, so I usually write "please do not bend" on the envelope.
If you buy A3 prints together with A4 prints, they'll come in a tube. If you buy A3 print and some cards... Oh that always is a problem to pack, but I try to find the solution.
This is annoying thing with some postmen - if I don't write - please do not bent, they bend it. But if I write this - seems like some angry postmen bend it on purpose :D And I can't add a lot of extra cardboard because it makes parcel heavier and more expensive to ship. If you have any ideas - feel free to share!

▲ DAMAGED THINGS. I've shipped prints to different ends of the world and only few out of more than 1000 orders got a little damage like slightly bend corner (read the part about angry postmen), so the chances are very rare. If it happens - please contact me, we'll find a way out of that.

▲ TRACKING. The post doesn't provide free tracking number. If you'd like the tracking - let me know BEFORE purchasing. But it costs way too much for many things.

▲ WRONG ADDRESS. Always check the address before buying. If you bought with wrong one and it is not marked as shipped, you can still send me a message, but I know many sellers do not do this because this way we loose some seller insurance. And it is easy to miss those messages while packing. So just, please, check before buying.

▲ LOST PARCELS. If the parcel doesn't arrive in 4 weeks, I try to give it chance to up to 5 weeks (statistic countries from my experience for much slower mail but still arriving: South/Central Americas, Russia, Canada, Israeli) and then it is considered lost. If this has happened, please, check if the given address. If it is correct, contact me to decide what is the next step.
Refunds and Exchanges
▲ Contact me if it has been 4 weeks since your order was shipped and you haven't received it.
If you're in Australia - contact a week after shipping.

Every situation is unique.
▲ If you feel unhappy with the item you got - contact me and we'll figure out how to fix the problem without opening the etsy case.
▲ If item is lost... Let's hope that doesn't matter. If it happened - contact me. Please consider the shipping time too.
