Darling Frida Kahlo card. Unique design. I love this artist. Hope she makes more! Lovely young woman, both designer and Frida.

Flappy, Mrs. Flappy, and Barnabus, our newest addition, were all made with care by Lulu. Mrs. Flappy and Barnabus are both custom orders that were made fabulously! The details are exquisite and every time I look at them, I see something I hadn't noticed before. Thank you so much for making these and we hope to shop here for years to come. :)

About

Dream Big

Hard to believe that in 2006 I was just discovering the amazing world of online art. Reading one blog led to another, then another, then an art retreat, then getting serious about making art again, and then ETSY! What an amazing, supportive place to share my art with others, as well as for me to find the work of other wonderful artists!

In this past year I have been able to rededicate myself to being a full time artist. When I am in my studio, whether basking in the serene silence or bopping along to tunes, I am in the flow of creativity, bringing color and faces to life, and all sense of time evaporates. For me there is nothing better than to be in this flow state, and I am so grateful to be able to be here now.

I am also so lucky to have found my Wonderful Husband, Rob. He is my greatest cheerleader and is eager to hit the road with me to do art shows around and about the country! Whoa. He also came complete with a house that had extra rooms. He gave them to me for my studios. (I know - incredible, right? All I can say is vision boards work, people!) One room is dedicated to messy media like paint and paper clay. The other studio is devoted to fabrics. Working between the two of them I stitch up doll shapes, then take them next door to sculpt and paint and bring them to life.

Believe in your dreams. Picture them coming true day by day. Take those little steps, and them JUMP!

When I was young I daydreamed about becoming a toymaker who lived in the woods - sort of like a female Gepetto. Well, now I make dolls and I live in the green state of Oregon, so I guess my dreams have come true!

I'm so glad you've come by to visit my little etsy shop! I dabble in a lot of different art forms, so I consider myself a mixed-up media artist. Getting paint and gel medium all over my hands makes me very happy indeed, as does creating doll faces out of paper clay. I like to share my visual journal work by transforming it into soldered glass pendants to wear, and I've decided that I can't keep all my art dolls to myself, so I offer them to you here. I hope that you'll find something you like, and that you'll visit again as I add more items to the shop. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
