About

When I look back at my childhood, I often consider myself one of the luckiest kids in the world because of my parents.

Ever since I was able to walk, my parents would take me traveling everywhere. We started locally, visiting every state in the country. Then we ventured abroad to neighboring countries and then further. Because of my parents, traveling has always been part of my life.

So does photography, a hobby I "inherited" from my dad. He's a keen photographer and used to carry this big, heavy camera which I accidentally damaged one day. Seeing how much he loves taking photos inspired me to carry on the "family tradition" to venture into photography myself.

My first digital camera was a Canon IXUS 400 which only has 4MP. Back then, it was one of the best digital cameras on the market. Many years later, I upgraded to a Canon 40D when I dropped the Canon IXUS at the Eiffel Tower! I guessed it was a trigger point because I began to see photography not just as a hobby, but an outlet for my creativity.

I like to see the world, experience different cultures and know people from different background. It's interesting to see that despite our differences in language, upbringing and religion, we can all connect to each other through photographs.

For me, a photograph serves two purposes. It documents what the photographer sees and also convey the emotions felt while photographing. In the latter, a lot of it can be presented in the post-processing style of the photographer, which often is a reflection of his/her personality and the emotions triggered photographing the subject.

My work has been published in magazines and travel guides, namely "Asia Overland: Tales of Travel on the Trans-Siberian and Silk Road" and "Mountain: Portraits of High Places". I've also been featured on websites such as the National Geographic Travel Guide to Prague and exhibited some of my work at the Showcasing Yorkshire Print Exhibition 2017 recently.

Lastly, I thank you and hope you've enjoyed your visit to my shop =)

Frequently asked questions
Where do you ship the prints from?

Although I'm based in the United Kingdom, I have close ties with professional printing lab in both the United States and the United Kingdom.

All orders from the UK will be shipped from the printing lab in the UK with Royal Mail.

All orders from the USA and everywhere else in the world will be shipped from the printing lab in the USA with USPS or Fedex.

This arrangement is to keep the shipping cost down as much as possible.

How are the prints packaged?

Prints up to the size of 11x14 are posted flat in a hard backed envelope for protection.

Prints larger than 11x14 are shipped rolled in tissue and kraft paper in a sturdy shipping art tube.

Is my print shipped with tracking?

All prints shipped within the USA are tracked.

All prints shipped within the UK are not tracked, but you can upgrade to Royal Mail Signed For Service for an additional cost.

How long does it take for my print to arrive?

For USA and UK buyers, all prints are shipped within 2-3 business days upon placing your order. It takes another 2-5 business days in transit depending on your location.

For buyers from everywhere else, all prints are shipping within 2-3 business days once you placed your order but the transit will take longer, depending on your location.
