Announcement   Thank you for visiting Luna Ceramics. I have been working in clay for twenty years. I am interested in surface design on clay. I have been trained in making my own hand made brushes that are used on many of my objects. I also focus work on my cultural background from Mexico. I am a firm believer that creating objects should be about play and I enjoy working in ceramics each day in my studio. What will be in this shop will be my explorations in my journey with clay and fire, Angel Olegario Luna

About

Lunaceramics

I started my etsy store to learn how to use this website/storefront so I could teach others how to put their work online at my college. I have been learning how to display my work here and it is different from the traditional brick and mortar store. Lunaceramics started as a business when I was a student in Moscow, Idaho, at the local farmers market. I have worked with my hands all my life from farm field labor to restaurants to my current dream job of teaching ceramics to others.

I have created functional pottery and smaller sculptures to experiment with surface on my larger sculptures. This exploration of texture and fire is ongoing. I am currently working on getting a new private studio up and running. I live inYuma, Arizona where the desert landscape and local traditions influence my work..

I have been working with clay as my major art material since 1995. I teach at the local college in Yuma, Arizona. I have sold work in farmers markets, craft fairs, art fairs, and show my work in national juried shows.

Thanks for stopping by my shop. All my ceramic pieces are sculpted by hand or thrown on a pottery wheel.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I prefer PayPal as it is the fastest and clearest method for all and lets me ship your purchase immediately.
I appreciate accurate and timely communication and try to always do that myself. Things just go better for everyone.
Without a promptly made payment and/or clear communication, I will feel free to cancel the transaction, per Etsy's recommendations. If you need to cancel, tell me as soon as you can, as the Seller is the only party who is able to do that.
Shipping
I will ship your purchase when your payment is received and confirmed.
I use USPS, either Priority or Parcel Post, whichever suits our mutual costs and time-frames.
My shipping and handling costs reflect the fact that ceramics require extra cushioning and insurance in order to arrive safely and securely.
We will combine shipping on multiple items and try to make it economical to the buyer.

I usually ship within three business days of confirmation of your payment. I will email you about it if it will be different.
At the moment, I am unable to ship internationally without special arrangements.
Refunds and Exchanges
Returns that you initiate are accepted within 7 days of receiving your purchase. Buyer (you!) pays for return shipping and handling. My refund will be for initial purchase price, less shipping, only and will be handled as soon as I receive your return package in good condition as sold.
If your purchase is damaged or broken in shipping, I would appreciate you sending me a photo of it. I believe you need to take the package, packing materials and contents to your local post office to initiate a claim. I will help however I can.
