About

Glass is an addiction!

It all started in the late 90s. A friend needed some space to work on Christmas presents. I'd just taken over a spare bedroom to convert to my studio. I happily invited my friend over to be crafty in my new creative space. She was doing something I'd never seen before ... stained glass! That very day I made my first Christmas ornament (which has sadly since fallen apart). Since that day, I've been on a quest to surround myself with glass and work with it every chance I get. I started taking classes at a local stained glass store, and then I got hired there as part time help. I worked there for almost 10 years, and my time there was incredibly valuable. I learned a lot ... like what I should have done with my first Christmas ornament so it would never fall apart! I had my hands in every part of being a glass artisan: making small suncatchers, stained glass panels, reparing stained glass, designing stained glass, making and repairing lamps, and even learning fused glass and teaching my own classes. I made a lot of friends at the shop and miss my time there, but there always comes a point to move on and grow on your own. That brought me to where I am today - Etsy and the craft show circuit. I love what I'm doing and I find the most inspiration from my customers and friends because they have no preconceptions of what "can" be done with glass as a medium which means they'll ask me if I can do something, and I always find a way to deliver. I'm very grateful to those questions because they force me to expand my own thinking and creativity and I continue to explore glass as a medium for art.

Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders are always welcome! If your custom request requires the item to be specially designed for you, a non-refundable deposit of 25% to get the project started will be required as a design fee. If a custom order is for an existing product in my store (in stock or sold), then there is no deposit required as a custom design is not required. The remaining 75% is due upon completion (before shipping) and can be paid incrementally as work is being done or in a lump sum.
