Returns and exchanges
“It Arrived Damaged” : DO NOT RETURN A BROKEN OR DAMAGED ITEM!!!! Just take a photo of the item and send it to my email –you'll receive a refund or, if possible, a resend.
"Undelivered": I always have proof of shipment (postal receipt and Delivery Confirmation). Please make sure your package can be delivered safely, and not, for example, stolen from your porch. S&H) or we can discuss a replace. if you cannot be sure of that, please contact me before your purchase request Signature Confirmation: It's only $1.75 more, and you will be sure you get your item. Also check if the item is not waiting to be cleared through customs. If it truly is lost, I will refund the cost of the item.
Payment
All orders must be paid in full within 3 days of purchase. If it has not been paid in full after 3 days and you have not contacted me and worked out the details, I will cancel the order.
Shipping
I do refund excess shipping, minus any fees paypal or etsy take from the refund. This is especially important, since in 2013, USPS nearly doubled its shipping costs for international postage, which can sometimes make it more difficult for me to estimate shipping costs. If you are at all concerned, send me a message and I will set up a custom listing for you.
If you are ordering from a different country, please be aware of your country's customs policies. I can not be responsible for packages being held up in customs. As a result, I cannot guarantee delivery dates and am not responsible for any customs, import taxes or vat taxes. Also, I can not mark items as "gift" on a customs form, as it is illegal for me to do so.
Additional policies and FAQs
I clearly label and individually package all of my fibers. I also disclose fiber content in my store listings. I can not be held responsible for fiber allergies. If you are concerned about an item and need more information to make an informed decision, please contact me directly.
When I process fiber, though I wash my fiber thoroughly, it is still possible for the end user to occasionally find chaff (little bits of grass or grain) in fiber and yarn. Commercially processed fiber is treated with harsh chemicals that dissolve chaff. I do not use these harsh chemicals, which can weaken fiber, when I process farm fresh fleece. Most chaff will fall out during hand processing, but a little bit can slip through to the final product. As you handle and wash these products, this leftover chaff will usually fall out or break down over time.
