The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
Exchanges will be issued if an item is damaged or flawed upon receiving. A photo of the damage/flawed item will be requested before anything happens. If the item is damaged, I will resend/replace your item but I must have the item returned to me. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility and are non refundable. Refunds do NOT apply to custom illustrations or custom orders (anything made to order that isn't ready to ship) I will gladly replace a custom illustration if it's damaged while shipping.

-Due to the nature of custom illustrations, refunds will not be given once the final proof has been sent to you or illustration is totally completed.
-After 10 days of your order being placed, you will not be able to cancel or get a refund.

PLEASE make sure you read all custom illustration listings carefully. Read the descriptions, check out photos of my completed work either on my listing photos or on my social media accounts and make sure it's what you want to buy! If you decide to purchase one of my illustrations, you are purchasing with the knowledge of how the finished result will be. I have my own style to my illustrations and if I send you your finished piece/proof and you're not happy with the style of it (even though my style is very evident in all of my illustration listing photos and social media posts) that's not my fault, unfortunately. I try to please my customers as much as I can and will bend over backwards to get your piece just right. But if you order something from me knowing very well what the finished result will be, then please don't be upset with me when I return your piece showcasing exactly that. I can make some minor tweaks here and there on your custom order but I'm not changing my style. I am well aware my style is not supposed to look realistic - it's more of a cute/cartoony version of people.
It would be totally unfair if I were to offer you a full and complete refund after I have spent so much time on your project.

I respond to emails and messages as quick as I can and I want to get your order out to you as soon as possible. If you need a custom order by a certain date, PLEASE keep track of your Etsy messages or emails! I can't be held responsible for sending out something at a date later than you needed because you did not get back to me after I sent proofs and messages. Therefore, if there was a delay in shipment because of non communication on your end and the custom order was already finished, I cannot refund your order.

For any custom work, payment must be paid in full before I start on your order!
✿ Greeting cards and ready to ship prints: Cards and prints will be shipped out within 2- 4 business days after payment (unless noted in description)

✿ Custom Illustrations and Custom orders: Turnaround time may vary (please check my shop announcements or custom listing for up to date turnaround times) but usually will be about 2-3 weeks for completion.


✿ Orders sent out within the US will arrive within 2 - 7 days. You will be receiving an email with your tracking info when your order has shipped. We are not responsible for any shipping charges if packages are returned to me due to an incorrect shipping address that the customer has provided.

✿ International packages are sent via USPS and can take anywhere from 1 - 5 weeks to arrive (sometimes more) We are not responsible for any custom charges or fees.

✿✿ IF YOU WOULD LIKE A RUSHED SHIPPING OPTION, PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE PUTTING IN YOUR ORDER. I will be more than happy to rush your shipment! Just be aware that there will be additional costs for the expedited shipping! ✿✿

Unfortunately, once the item is shipped, it's out of my control. Usually the items get there in time but sometimes (for international orders) items get held up in customs and can prolong the delivery time. So please make sure you order with enough time to spare! During the holidays, shipping may get delayed a bit. Unfortunately, no refunds will be given if a package is late or delayed. I wish I could control the USPS but I can't!

Orders will be shipped to the address you have on file with your Etsy or PayPal account. Please check and make sure prior to submitting your order that you have the correct address on file OR let me know the same day of item purchase that you want it shipped to a different address. If your package is returned to me due to an incorrect address or if it's sent to an incorrect address, it will result in new shipping charges to reship. Unfortunately, there will be no refunds on missing packages due to an incorrect address!

Lux & Trip holds copyright to all completed designs and illustrations. Designs are for personal use. Please do not copy, resell, or redistribute my designs.

Please note that colors will likely vary from screen to screen.
Any of my prints/lettering/designs are not to be altered, shared or distributed in any way. Purchase of item does not transfer copyright.

Any custom order is limited to 4 revisions. If there is a mistake made on my end on a proof round, then that round will not count towards the 4 allowed revisions. If more proofs are needed after the 4 revisions, you will be subject to pay a $10 fee for each additional proof.

An approval of a proof is MANDATORY before I send out any custom order to you. If I do not hear back with an approval within ONE month of order, then I will be sending out your piece as is (completely finished!) but you will not be able to make any changes or anything once it arrives to you. The point of sending a proof is so you can make any changes that you may need.

I want to make your custom order absolutely perfect so there will be a lot of communication between you and I to make sure of that. Please make sure to try to include every little detail you'd like in your custom order to reduce the amount of proofs!

Every once in a while I have sales running in my shop or special coupon codes. If it's a coupon code, you must enter it at checkout when purchasing in order to receive the sale price. When there's a sale running, I cannot honor the sale on previous purchases. You may not use a coupon after a sale has finished for a credit or a refund towards your purchase.
