It's a wonderful life!

I'm a lucky girl! My home studio is in a 19th Century farmhouse on a ranch on the coast of California tucked between the beautiful coastline and our valley's beautiful vineyards. It is just a short drive to beautiful Santa Barbara.

We have a herd of Buffalo and Watusi here and four very old horses in their late 20's and early 30's and one crazy Thoroughbred to keep them all young at heart. My days are filled caring for all of their needs, giving meds, keeping them comfortable and happy and their bellies full. And of course, creating lovely things for my Etsy customers!

I am a huge animal lover and will do most anything possible to preserve the life of a living creature (which includes not eating them). :)

I am so happy & thankful to have found Etsy and to be able to do what I do and try and earn a living at it. I am very open to helping philanthropic organizations/charities, especially children's medical needs and animal welfare organizations raise funds. If you are associated with a charity- I am open to discussing fundraising opportunities.

If you have an issue with your order upon receipt please contact me through the Etsy convo system within three days of receipt of your tracked package. Any other problems, please contact me through the Etsy convo system and let me know what your issue is and what your preferred method of resolution would be. I above all want you to be happy with your purchase.

If your item breaks shortly after use I will of course replace it at no cost to you. Please try and contact me before leaving negative feedback for an easy resolution to your issue. 😊 A quick convo and your issue will be resolved and a new replacement item on it's way out to you! I stand behind what I sell.

There are no refunds on custom hand stamped or personalized items.


You may return your unworn / unopened purchase with an approved return authorization. Authorizations must be requested within three days of receipt of your package.

If you wish to return an item, return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping costs are non refundable once an item has been shipped unless a mistake has been made by me. Returned items must be returned in original packaging, unworn and in the same condition as originally sent.

Hair pins that have been worn are non returnable for sanitary reasons.

Refunds will be made through Etsy to the same method of payment as purchase.

Resizing / exchange of rings:

If you ordered a ring(s) and ordered the incorrect size in error, you may exchange the ring(s) for a different size. You ( the buyer) will be responsible for paying for shipping back to me as well as the return shipping back to you once the new ring(s) is /are complete. I have a listing in my shop for first class shipping to purchase return shipping back to you when the new rings are re-made. Please allow approximately two weeks for resizing as this is done as a courtesy and subject to my current turnaround time. If you need your resizing rushed there will be a rush fee incurred. Knowing your correct size before ordering is the absolute best way to avoid having to have your rings resized.

If there are more than 3 rings to be resized, there will be a resizing charge of $5.00 per ring after the first three rings. It is always best to step into a jewelry store and have your finger sized professionally before you order if you do not know your size.

Please note shipping and processing time frames prior to ordering. Production timelines/turnaround times are estimates and subject to change. If you need an item by a date specific it is always best to convo before purchasing to be sure I can fit a rush order in to my current production queue. Most of the time I am able to accommodate buyers but it is best to ask first in case circumstances don't allow for a rush order. Holiday seasons are busy and you can expect a longer turnaround time. Hand made/made to order items take time.

Regular domestic shipping is via USPS First Class Small Parcel.

If you would like your purchase shipped via Priority Mail, which typically takes 2-3 days, please choose the shipping upgrade offered.Shipping upgrades do not mean processing upgrades, it only means you are purchasing a quicker transit time. Holiday seasons are busy for the postal service, please take this into consideration when making your purchase.

International shipping to countries designated in the shipping profile is for regular First Class postage and shipping time can vary. Processing through customs can add delays to the receipt of your package and is beyond my control. If you are an international customer please be aware that once we ship your items to you we no longer have control of what happens or the speed at which they reach you. International customers may also be subject to customs taxes/tariffs/fees that are imposed by your country of residence. If you are an international customer it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with your country 's import laws and to be prepared to pay any cots imposed by your government in order to receive your shipment from Etsy/luxebuffalo. Luxebuffalo has absolutely no control over customs fees. Customs fees are not a bill for postage due, they are taxes required by your government that pay for services and infrastructure in the buyer's country. They are not the responsibility of the seller.

Additional policies and FAQs
To open your bobby pin for placement in your hair, slide your finger up between the bottom opening of the bobby pin. To ensure a long life for your pins, do not use the figural portion (leaf/bee/flower) of the pin to open the pin for placement. Repeated torque against the figural portion will weaken the bond.

To preserve the integrity of the bond between the bobby pin and the figural brass piece it is best to keep the bobby pins out of wet environments. Be sure to remove your pins before showering or swimming. Avoiding things like hair spray will also help keep your pieces looking shiny and pretty. Hair spray and hair products create a film over basically anything it is sprayed upon. Try and place your hair pins after you have sprayed your hair with product. Avoiding high temperature environments is also advised.

Most of the hair pins are made of raw brass and will patina with age. You can use a brass polish or polishing cloth to remove any oxidation from your piece. Be gentle and grip both the brass piece and the bobby pin at the same time being careful not to apply any torque on the brass piece alone.
