Hi, I’m Jen! I’m a stay at home mom and polymer clay artist based in North Carolina. I started Lyrah Creations in 2020 during the pandemic. We were hit pretty hard by it and creating was my way of staying sane during such a uncertain time. I made Fimo figurines in elementary school, so using polymer clay as a medium was my way of reconnecting with my childhood self. This is also reflected in Lyrah Creation’s style — 90’s and particularly the 70’s revival within that decade. I make and wear what I always admired in music icons and popular culture as a child. My pieces are both every day staples and statement pieces designed for people who love music, geekdom, retro nostalgia and personal expression.

Polymer clay is surprisingly lightweight and durable. It’s actually PVC! I make each piece by hand, so the item you recieve may differ from the pictures and will be 100% unique and one of a kind.

My hardware is purchased with tarnish resistance and sensitive skin in mind. I buy stainless steel and nickle free findings, but for those with extreme sensitivities, I can do titanium or plastic. Just ask! ☺️

My collections are named for the many maternal influences in my life without whom I would not be creating today.
