Welcome to Clancy's Classics
I am in love with history and especially the photographic history of our country. I spend most my days and evenings with photography so I have a somewhat passionate feeling for it and love to do creative enhancements on some and then offer the images printed out for you.
I also have a huge vintage photo collection and after selling online for almost 20 years I try to find things that I love and know my dedicated customers love and collect. So if you have a particular theme you collect, let me know and I will look for you. Thanks so much for stopping into my store.
Excited to announce that I was featured on the Top Seller list on Etsy on Listicles

I am now selling reprints and originals from my paintings and many are inspired from vintage photos.
********** note about photos from the "Print" section of my store~ I choose my photographic paper very carefully~ I researched which paper would not only look good but last long. I am including here a quote from the company who product the Museo photo paper I use,
"Museo (pronounced Moo-zay-o) is the brand name given to the family of digital fine art media owned and manufactured by InteliCoat Technologies. Museo is manufactured to archival standards (Library of Congress, ISO) with all products being 100% cotton, internally buffered (to prevent long term environmental acidification), and containing no optical brighteners (which are known to fade over time) Museo is targeted toward professional, semi-professional, and pro-sumer photographers and artists who produce digital originals or reproductions using inkjet technology. "
It really is the finest photo paper and I myself love it and hope you will as well.

Telling the Vintage photo Story
I remember collecting photos since 1970 when as a student and mom I would ride my bike around Eugene, OR., to garage sales looking for old photos. At the time I was a photo/design student and hand coloring photos that I printed in the darkroom and a natural thing for me was to be drawn to the early photography. I had and still do, a keen interest in contemporary and historic photos and if I had to pick an era, it would be the first 10 years from 1900-1910.
Once I started collecting, the desire has never stopped. I have an extensive collection of glass negatives from around the world and a studio filled to overflowing with albums and single photos.
I truly believe that each photo has a story and sometimes a hidden mystery. I always look at my vintage photos for a long time trying to let the photo speak to me. When it does then it has its story and its title too.
And thus I felt after years of collecting a natural thing was to share them and just decided to turn it into a business. One of my joys is to find customers that love the same imagery as I do, nothing is better than that!
If there is any subject that you collect, email and let me know. I probably have something here for you. Or just write for no reason. I love to hear from you.
Most days you will find me here, listing and researching and when time allows, a bit of painting. My art store with encaustic and watercolor paintings can be found here
