Shipping
NOTE: on SALE items w/ reduced shipping, or listings with Free Shipping, seller may choose to NOT ship Priority and ship First Class Mail instead.

Otherwise---
For USA Domestic shipments I use USPS Priority (by weight, so far has been from $5 - $10 range) w/ Delivery Confirmation. I generally ship the item within 24 hours of receiving payment, and strive to do same day shipping if received before 2 pm EST. I email the buyer upon shipment in order to share the Delivery Confirmation #. My shipping rate is the approximate Priority Mail postage plus a bit to cover my handling & transport. If persons in USA would like me to calculate to less expensive First Class shipping/handling, please convo me before paying and I'll reserve it with First Class rate. Note: If you want insurance to cover loss/damage shipments, please request at time of purchase. Otherwise I do not insure domestic US shipments and rely on Delivery Confirmation as suitable proof of delivery.

If items will fold & fit nicely into a USPS Priority mail Tyvek envelope, that is what I will use. Or padded envelopes. I usually only use boxes if the item can't fit in an envelope, i.e. it is too big or folds up with a lot of bulk... so if you would rather I use a box vs. an envelope, please request one at the time of purchase. When using boxes I either use the Priority Mail ones, or reuse suitable box/packaging I have here at home that I sometimes wrap with salvaged architectural plan papers from my husband's work.

International (updated December 2011):
For outside North America, please convo me to request shipping quote and then I will update the listing with your country. I will quote you both First Class International and Priority Mail rates. I will also add approx. $1.50 for insurance, unless buyer declines. Non-delivery must be reported within 60 days of shipment! Without insurance, I will not refund for lost/damaged packages. ***All risk involved with international shipping is in the buyer's hands.***

On customs forms I will mark as "Merchandise" or "Other - online purchase" and will fill in the value as the actual purchase amount of the item.
Refunds and Exchanges
Without insurance, I will not refund for lost/damaged packages.

Non-delivery must be reported within 60 days of shipment!

Note: ***All risk involved with international shipping is in the buyer's hands.***

If a Domestic US buyer received the item and it had been grossly misrepresented (wrong measurements or large defect overlooked), I *may* allow for an immediate return (shipped within 24 hours) with the buyer responsible for comparable return S/H, i.e. USPS Priority Mail w/ Delivery Confirmation. Once I received the item, I would PayPal the original funds to the buyer, minus fees.

For international transactions, I will not accept returns. Partial refund will only be made for loss/damaged packages, IF insurance was purchased and issue is reported within 60 days.
Additional policies and FAQs
We do have two large yellow lab dogs that are indoor/outdoor pets, but I keep the clothes in my closet or hung on a rack in our bedroom where the dogs rarely visit. I will try to pick off any lint/hairs I might see when I am packaging the item.

It is a smoke-free house.

I typically will have machine washed most items cold and tumble dried on medium at least once before storing. Exceptions may be: acquired items that look/smell clean already, or look delicate, or have special washing instructions... for those I just leave as-is.

Keep in mind that vintage pieces are mostly likely NOT in perfect condition. I try to describe any defects, but it is possible I might overlook really small ones. Anything I sell would be something I'd wear, as-is, but I'm might not be as picky as other clothing connoisseurs.

Please leave positive feedback if appropriate! I always do and appreciate reciprocation. If you feel like leaving neutral or negative feedback, please contact me first and we can work it out.
