Bought this as a birthday gift for a friend who is into Steam Punk. I was blown away at the level of interaction & customer service. Not only that, but it was delivered promptly despite being shipped overseas. Was definitely a great experience & product from this seller :)

All it takes is a small accessory to express your individuality, to change the look of an entire outfit and connect with people.

Madame Morwenna was created in concept in 2008 after graduating with a degree in Illustration from Falmouth, and a desire to turn some of the accessories and outfits worn by characters who make an appearance in my illustrated pieces. Morwenna is a middle name of mine.

I have always been very much into the darker aesthetics, creepy visuals and different accessories, and with much pride, I love making these items in Cornwall, UK. I taught myself how to make every item on here after designing them, and everything is sewn by hand, due to the items being small, using harder materials and for sheer love of applying beads and sequins in this manner.

2010 was when I opened my own online shop, which showcases a larger selection of past work, current work and commissions. At I have had the pleasure to work with some tip-top people, creating and working in the worlds of Alter Egos, Festival Goers, Models and Photographers, Burlesque Performers and Glasgow Music Theatre since.

2012 was the year I was not well, and after months of brewing on ideas, I finally managed to recover enough to get stitching, creating, networking, and getting this show on the road, as it were. Thankfully, I am much better now, and happily stitching for fabulous people, with illustration still playing a part, as well as painting more fine art pieces and playing the symphonie hurdy-gurdy at events.

Currently, my work can be seen and purchased at The Sleepy Hollow, in Hayle, The Arcade in Penzance and I have also taken part residence in Seraphina's Steam Pantry in St. Austell. I make pieces that could suit all tastes in the family of Goth, and do love commissions, so if you see something I have already made but would like a different theme or colour, or if you have grand ideas for something completely one off and perhaps a little bonkers, please feel free to contact me!

Hello, and welcome to my store!

I love handmaking things and hope this is evident in what you see here! Each item is unique. If you see multiples of items, rest assured that each one is handcrafted and is therefore unique, having its own particular differences.

I am trained in Illustration and have adapted some of my costume and character designs into physical accessories, by teaching myself how to make them in 3D. I love learning new skills so please add me to your favourite sellers to keep up to date with my work.

Here is the outline of my policies. If I have missed anything that you would like more information on, please feel free to email me. I am friendly and clear communication is the key.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
I accept payment via Paypal only at the moment.

I also request payment within 3 days, and any payment pending after this time will be cancelled by me.
I make the boxes that items are shipped in and these are sturdy and ensures a safe passage for the gift you order.

I always use First Class Recorded delivery by Royal Mail for UK buyers as this comes with a tracking number and requires a signature at the buyers end to ensure it reaches its destination safely.

For International buyers, I use Royal Mail's International postage services, and this includes import tax/duties for which the customer is responsible for.

I aim to dispatch the item 1-3 business days, but will email a confirmation message to let you know it is on its way.
Refunds and Exchanges
Before each item is packed and posted, I thouroughly check for holes, flaws in stitching and any loose embelishments, and pack in sturdy boxes with tissue or crepe paper and, if required, bubble wrap, to ensure it reaches you safely.

In the unlikely event that there is damage, please contact me immediatly.

I only accept returns if the item is unworn and has received no suspect damage committed deliberately to claim a refund.

I also cannot refund return postage, so if you have any concerns, please message me as I aim to be as clear as possible in my listing descriptions.

If you do need to return something, I advise using a tracking postage method as I can't be held responsible for loss in the post.

The faulty item will then be examined and if it is indeed faulty then I will refund you, or exchange if it is an item where there are more available.

In some cases, it takes me quite a while to make, so I will always be honest if I have any more, and how long it might take to make if I don't have any in stock.
Additional policies and FAQs
I cannot be held responsible for damage due to misuse of the items.

Please keep the items away from fire. Due to small parts included in my work such as beads, buttons and sequins, etc... keep the items out of reach of children and animals as they may present choking hazards. They leave my hands after vigourous tugs to ensure staying power.

I have partaken in custom orders and have enjoyed the challenge, so if you have an idea you want to make real, and you see me as right for the job, please feel free to message me and I would be happy to see what we can come up with!

If you, the buyer, are overseas, (I am located in the UK) the buyer is responsible for any additional fees that may be charged at customs.

Hope you enjoy my shop and happy Etsy shopping!
