Tools for Every Day - Made by Cat Painter

It all started when I was little and my mom taught me to use her sewing machine. I wouldn't leave it alone and she didn't want me to get hurt. It got bigger when I began to make tote bags from scrap fabric, tinkering with the design to build just what I wanted - a roomy tote bag that would hold a lot and last a long time, that was lightweight and compact, that was machine washable and very durable. (High standards? Absolutely.)

A few years ago I took up designing and making in earnest when I founded Made by Cat Painter, building Tools for Every Day. My items are made well using quality materials, designed to be used and reused, professionally finished to look good the whole time. These are the kind of things I use every day so they are the kind of things I offer here.

I want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. Likewise, if it is a gift, I want to help you make the recipient feel special.

Please contact/convo me right away if you do not receive your item in a reasonable amount of time or if the item arrives damaged.

If you would like to return an item for any reason please contact me. I want to make it right.

Custom orders are final sale and ineligible for return or exchange.

MadebyCatPainter gladly accepts Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express. Payment can be made though direct checkout with Etsy.

Items shipped to Illinois are subject to 9.25% sales tax.
Shipping
I ship USPS First Class from Chicago, IL. Due to regulations by the US Postal Service, packages 16+ oz. will be shipped Priority Mail. This will be covered by the standard shipping charge displayed with the listing.

For purchases of multiple items, shipping may total less than quoted in my shop (NEVER more). If I can refund some of your shipping cost once I weigh the final package, I will!

Expedited shipping available for most items. For international orders and multiple item shipments, please contact me if you would like to discuss a specific price for shipping. Sometimes I can make arrangements at a lower cost than the default posted rates.

Made by Cat Painter is not liable for lost or stolen packages and cannot be held responsible for additional shipping charges for packages returned to sender due to customer absence, customer errors in address, or package refusal.

For international orders: We are unable to track international orders shipped via USPS once they leave the United States. If you would prefer that your package be shipped via UPS or another carrier with tracking service, please convo/contact me.

International orders may incur customs charges and experience delivery delays. Please note that these fees and delays are NOT included in posted or quoted item price and delivery estimates. All customs fees, duties, and other import-related taxes and fees are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
