About

Dress up as yourself!

I've been making all sorts of things my whole life, but my costume designing took off after my first time at Burning Man in 2009. Radical self-expression is such a powerful mission, and I love making that happen!

While the products of my work will morph from clothing, to accessories, to toys, each creation is a combination of color and texture. I like to work with bright, shiny fabrics. I save scraps from every project to use in new creations. My two main sewing machines are a 1982 Pfaff and a Juki serger.

I grew up in New Orleans and am a committed Burner, which I think is evident in all my work. Now I live in Los Angeles near the ocean, I like to ride my bike, I eat vegetarian, and spring rolls are my favorite food. When not sewing, I'm probably knitting or painting.

My design philosophy is "Don't wear your heart just on your sleeve!" I live and work near the ocean in Los Angeles. When I'm not sewing I like to ride my vintage rainbow bike around, and am always on the lookout for a cat to pet.
