My new favorite: the karma necklace, what goes around comes around

a creative mother daughter duo

Our inspiration is drawn from vintage design of almost every era and the rustic country nature of our home and garden in the hamptons and our travels to Europe. We draw from fashion, architecture, and even the homemade fresh cooking we live for. Our favorite looks include french country, edwardian, victorian and industrial steampunk design updated with a minimalist eye for everyday and simple wedding jewelry.

This all started with a present for my daughter Nicole, a beading kit from a relative. As a handcolored photographer and former visual merchandiser at Saks Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, of course I had to get my hands on it.

Later that year we were selling at stores in the Hamptons (our home) and art galleries on the Eastern End of Long Island. Being a tech savvy millennial Nicole brought us online in 2008 and we've been here on etsy selling ever since. I (moe) design, hand make, package and send every piece individually and with love so everything is a little unique and in a way, one of a kind!

Nicole still manages the blogging and PR (follow us at pinterest.com/madebymoe/ and madebymoe.tumblr.com!) from Park Slope, Brooklyn and designs and creates when she's back home on break from NYU law.
