About

Love at first sight.

My love with glass started the first time I saw someone melting glass at a shop in Nelson BC. I wanted to melt glass that very day but I had to find a place to take a class first ! I took a beginners class and bought all the equipment. I know my family thought I was crazy! I was hooked. I wore many of my creations, always getting questions as to where I got the beads. My friends suggested I sell my work. So I started going to our local farmers market. Things just went from there! I now travel many weekends and evenings, selling my pieces and am represented in several local shops. Thanks for taking the time to view my shop hope you enjoy what you see!

I have been making lampwork beads since 2003. It is the best hobby in the world....I get to play with fire! I also enjoy being able to explore my creativity every day.

I have been making lampwork beads for five years now(2009). I hand make each bead and fire all my work in a kiln for lasting strength. (of course still be careful as they are glass!) This is the best hobby one could ever have. If my kids need to find me I am out in the garage playing with fire. I want to create pieces that will make a lasting impression. I hope you will enjoy my beads as much as I enjoy creating them.
