At the Mad Fish Market you'll find handmade bags, purses and pouches, as well as accessories and vintage items. I also make hemp jewelry and polymer clay beads. I like to use vintage and reclaimed fabrics as well as new, but taking something apart and making it in to something new is my favourite. I try to have a little of everything at great prices, and if you're looking for something original, different and unique, you're in the right place.
I sew on a 1911 treadle sewing machine that uses no electricity. This machine has been in my family for three generations, I love it!
I appreciate my customers' patience with shipping, updating, and custom orders. I have a disability that causes me chronic pain and can delay my ability to work or get to the post office, but I do my best to keep in contact and have items ready on time.
Unfortunately due to the absurd cost of shipping and surprise customs extras, I can no longer afford to ship outside Canada. If you would like me to ship to you, I can if you are able to pay the expense, please message me for details.

What I Had Lying Around
I love making things out of what I have. My grandmother grew up in the depression and learned to make the best of everything, and taught me a lot of great ways to re-use things. Finding unique and fun colour combinations is my passion.

I am happy to send a gift to anyone you like, and will provide free simple gift packaging - wrapped in tissue paper with a card and simply decorated envelope with stickers. If you would like something more elaborate I am happy to do so for a small fee.
