Very high quality, Beautiful work. A little snafu with post office, but Etsy sender resolved immediately. More than met our expectations!

My Cholula outgrew her original collar so I ordered a bigger size. It matches her leash, also from Madlabs. Very high quality. Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful colors, sturdy collar, quiet when our dog shakes. The seller had some trouble with USPS delivery, but it eventually got here.

We ordered a custom martingale collar from Cathy. This is our second from her, the first is about 4 years old and still going strong. High quality materials and attention to detail is evident in the final product. She delivered exactly what we wanted and met our expectations perfectly.

Beautiful 2nd collar for Qui Sait. He outgrew his first one but I loved it so much I wanted an identical new one for him. Puffins Rule 🤘🏻
Hand making dog and cat collars in Anchorage, AK since January 2014.
Dogs have always been a very important part of my life.
As I was searching for collars for my dogs in 2013, I discovered large batches of the same collars... everywhere. My mother, and grandmother, were always sewing while I was growing up, and I learned how to handle a needle from them. I found a ribbon I liked, got out my machine, and made a collar. Several prototypes later, and requests from friends and family, I decided to make collars for everyone.
When I was a year old, my parents got a half Newfoundland half Irish Setter and named him Duke. As an only child, Duke was always there. He died when I was 17 and he was 16. My parents got a Landseer Newfoundland puppy the next year and Bear was with us for the next 14. I was 20 when I bought my house and had never lived alone; I ended up at Anchorage Animal Control and brought home a puppy a month later. His name was Spaceman Spiff from Calvin and Hobbs.
We became smitten with Labradors, and got one on saint Patrick's Day 1998. Her name was Zoey and she was our original Mad Lab. In 2006 we brought home Echo, the model for the logo. Wild eyes and all. Our latest addition came in 2014, Nyx. A field bred Labrador from Junction City OR. Nyx and I are active in the DockDogs world, and are lucky to travel to events. Each of the labs have competed but Nyx has loved it best.
Do you want ducks? Sports teams? Holiday themes? Ruffles? Email me. I can, and will, do my best to come up with a custom collar for your furry best friend. Since I am a small business, I will have different patterns available at any given time. Materials may be discontinued and I may not be able to make the same collar again.
I make all of the collars in Anchorage, Alaska.
