5 out of 5 starsA lovely set of plates - the colors are richly blended and the gold decals are intricate and beautiful. They'll be a treasured set in our family for years to come - thank you!

5 out of 5 starsI ordered these bowls as a set of purple and green. I love them for special occasions when we don’t want to use a store bought bowl. They’re high quality and large. The seller was responsive and helpful. I would recommend

5 out of 5 starsI reached out to Madeleine with a custom project in mind, and besides being a total delight, she delivered in the most unexpected and overwhelming way with so many beautiful, equally enigmatic choices that I was torn between which pieces to call mine. Now I have them in my custody and they already feel so naturally at home. I’m so grateful she was willing to take on this special order and go to such lengths to make me happy. Thank you Madeleine!

I set up a tent outside my garage-studio for our town's Open Studios. My companion awaits visitors. -
Studio is draped in beautiful cloth to show off and hide chaos. My wheel is tucked beside the kiln so no one will trip. -
Light fills the studio from windows, skylights and French doors--a nice change from my first two dark basement spaces! -
Glaze mixing requires care, but the outcome is like magic--pastel shades turn brilliant when fired. -
Porcelain Pisces pin series are based on real fish. Julia Child owned one of my monkfish pins.

My studio is named after my grandmother who gave me bottles of colored water and let me make mud pies on the steps of her tiny house in Diamond Springs, CA. My mother was a fine painter but I didn't find clay until I was in grad school.
