The Mad Orange Shop is a one-woman business so refunds are not encouraged, but buying handmade should be a happy experience so if you have a problem with your order, please let me know and I am sure we can work something out! Any refund or exchange will not include shipping fees.

If an item is damaged during shipping, please contact me within 24 hours and include a photo of the damaged item.

There are no refunds or exchanges on custom orders, postcards or vintage items.

My payment preference is PayPal, but I will accept money orders as well.

Payment by PayPal must be received within 3 days after purchase.

Payment by money order must be received within 7 business days of purchase.

New Mexico residents must pay 8.188% sales tax. PayPal automatically adds the sales tax at check out. If you pay by money order, I will send you a revised invoice.
Items that are ready to ship will be sent out within 1 to 3 business days after payment has cleared.

If you live in Santa Fe, I am happy to deliver your order at your convenience and refund the shipping charge. Please email me to set up.

U.S Shipping -
Orders are typically shipped First Class. I also use Priority Mail when cost effective. USPS does not offer Delivery Confirmation anymore, but the do provide a tracking number for each shipment.

Insurance is available upon request and at the customer's expense.

International Shipping -
I ship First-Class International. If you would like to upgrade to Priority Mail, please e-mail me. It costs more but provides some tracking. Customer is responsible for the extra shipping fee.

Duty/Import taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

There are no refunds on lost packages.

I ship to your ETSY ADDRESS so please contact me immediately if your shipping address is not correct. I cannot be responsible for items not received due to an incorrect address.

Please contact me prior to purchase if you have any special delivery requests.

Oh and please note that I often use recycled packing materials.
Additional policies and FAQs
If you need to clean your felted piece, do not put it in the washing machine and do not use hot water.

For the handbags, spot clean with cold water or you can soak in cold water with a tiny bit of gentle soap. (Woolite will work.) Rinse out the bag, gently roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape to your liking and air dry. A piece of cardboard or bunched up plastic bags can be put in the bag to help keep its form.

If your bowl gets squashed, you can thoroughly dampen it with cold water, gently squeeze out excess water, reshape and air dry. The best way to reshape it is to find a mold that fits it (a cereal bowl, jar, pot or pan...anything that has a similar shape) and allow it to dry around the mold. Alternately, you can leave the bowl dry, put it around the mold and steam iron it.
