Welcome to Madrona Vintage

My focus is on acquiring wearable, timeless, vintage and antique items of exceptional quality for my buyers. I also make it my mission to offer the most helpful service possible to the guests in my shop.

Thank you for reading my policies before making your purchase! Please take them as a guideline - if something doesn't work for you, feel free to send me a message - I am always happy to re-evaluate things in special circumstances.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
As of right now, I am accepting paypal as the only form of payment. Other forms may be added soon.

Payment is expected within 24 hours. If a purchase has not been paid for within that time, your order will be canceled and the item will be re-listed.

I am happy to hold an item for you while answering questions, or until you are ready to make payment, within a reasonable amount of time. Just ask!
Shipping
I try to ship items within two postal business days of purchase (usually within 24 hours!), but if there is ever any delay I will be sure to communicate with you on your order.

I default my shipping method to the lowest cost, unless otherwise mentioned. This is usually First Class, with the exception of heavier items which may ship as Priority. Depending upon your location, it may take 1-3 weeks for you package to arrive.

I am able to expedite shipping for you when you would like, and would prefer to communicate with you on this in advance of your purchase so that I may adjust shipping costs accordingly. Please also keep in mind that I am selling one-of-a-kind items, and that paying a little extra for insured shipping may be worth it to you - Madrona Vintage is not responsible for items lost or damaged in the mail.

Please send me a message if you would like International shipping! I am adding new countries to my shipping locations regularly, but if yours is not featured let me know! And, of course, please note that the buyer is responsible for any restrictions, taxes, and customs fees that may go along with your order.
Refunds and Exchanges
It is my hope that you will have a wonderful experience with Madrona Vintage! I understand that there are uncertainties that go along with any shopping experience, so I do offer a limited return policy.

- Fitting can be hard sometimes. For clothing and shoes, in some circumstances, I will offer the opportunity to return an item that does not fit properly. Shipping will be paid both ways by the buyer, and I request that you ask questions about any measurements you are unsure of before ordering. I will only offer this kind of return with prior communication, so please message me before buying so we can reach an agreement!

- I list the details of my items as descriptively and thoroughly as possible. Please keep in mind that these items are over 20 years old, and do have a scuff or fray here and there. However, if you feel that an item's condition has been grossly misrepresented, please contact me and we will work out a solution. I ask that you please be kind, and do not leave neutral or negative feedback before an order has been resolved.

- If there is any other reason why you feel an item should be returned, please contact me within 7 days of receiving the item, and we may be able to work out a refund as store credit. The shipping will also be the responsibility of the buyer in most cases, so please ask questions before you buy!
Additional policies and FAQs
* Please communicate to me any questions or concerns prior to purchase! I love getting messages and am happy to answer them!

* Please remember that these pieces are used, and 20-100+ years old. They have some wear, and some age. That is part of what makes them beautiful! I categorize condition as:

{Flawless} Mint or near perfect. Not a flaw to speak of, but item may have been worn, or may have acquired a natural patina.

{Excellent} Flaws are minor - a fray or two, a small stain in the lining of a jacket, surface wear on the back of a brooch.

{Good} Item has been loved. There may be missing rhinestones, or a button to replace. The piece may have been repaired. For antique pieces, I may list a delicate item that would need significant restoration, or may be loved as is.

* A note about cleaning: I take care to clean my pieces as gently as possible. If I am in doubt, I will leave it up to the buyer. When safe, I will dry clean garments and polish jewelry, but natural patinas such as tarnish on silver will be left up to the buyer to decide whether or not to remove.
