Announcement   Welcome! In Tagalog (the national language of the Philippines), maganda means “beautiful.” I chose this name for my jewelry collection because that is exactly what I believe every piece of jewelry is meant to be, and how it ultimately makes you feel when you wear something special. My current collection fuses pieces from different time periods and trends to create one-of-a-kind, timeless collages of salvaged treasures.

Welcome to Maganda Jewelry!

In Tagalog (the national language of the Philippines), maganda means “beautiful.” I chose this name for my jewelry collection because that is exactly what I believe every piece of jewelry is meant to be, and how it ultimately makes you feel when you wear something special.

My designs are inspired by my long-time love affair of everything vintage, especially jewelry. Through the years I have scoured vintage shops, patiently dug through dozens of boxes at garage sales and flea markets, and even ransacked my mom’s jewelry drawers to amass a wonderful collection of bejeweled bliss. But in my searches, I’m particularly drawn to those pieces that need to be rescued – necklaces that are broken, mismatched earrings, tarnished chains, and even funky 80s pendants that could be crafted into something more chic. If you’ve ever wondered who would buy “that”, well, it’s probably me. I believe there is beauty in every cast off I find and I have a passion for reviving and recreating it.

Some of my creations are all vintage while others are mixed with newer findings, beads or semi-precious gems. I hope that these one-of-a-kind creations bring you much joy, an appreciation of the past and the inspiration to make you feel beautiful every day!

Payment
Payment: Payment is accepted via Paypal only within 48 hours of transaction. If you do not submit payment within this timeframe, your purchase will be cancelled and the item will be relisted.
Shipping
Shipping & Insurance: Items shipped in the United States will be delivered via USPS Priority Mail with tracking number. Each package will be insured up to $50 - if you want to purchase additional insurance to cover the cost of your item, please let me know. If you prefer UPS or Fed Ex shipping, please contact me and I will ship accordingly. I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages - you must follow-up with the tracking number/confirmation number if there are any problems.

ALSO, please note that I use recycled boxes for shipping all items. To clarify, I reuse boxes from places like Amazon.com, Costco, etc, so don't be alarmed when you see an otherwise less than perfect box - it's still from Maganda Jewelry. What's inside is more important! Reusing shipping boxes is just another way of being eco-friendly!

International buyers: All international packages will be shipped First Class Mail with no delivery confirmation, tracking number or confirmation number. If you would like insurance or delivery confirmation added for peace of mind, please contact me for a quote. International buyer is also responsible with any applicable taxes with customs. Again, I am not responsible for any lost or stolen packages.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds and Exchanges: If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact me immediately upon receipt of your item. The item must be returned within 7 days of purchase for a refund or exchange (exchange must be the same amount of item being returned or I can deduct the difference). You are responsible for shipping the item back to me with a tracking number AND insurance. Please pack the item with the same care as I sent it to you. I am not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Once I receive the item in its original condition, I will refund your money accordingly. Shipping charges are nonrefundable. Please refrain from posting negative feedback before talking to me about any problems. I really am a nice person and will work with you the best I can.
Additional policies and FAQs
Repairs: Yes, I am human and make mistakes, so I am happy to make repairs within one year of purchase. You must pay for shipping the item to me (shipped package must have tracking number and be insured for value of item), and I will pay for shipping it back to you (will include tracking number and insured value as well).

The fine print: I bring together disparate, salvaged vintage parts to create one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly jewelry. The items used in each design may have some imperfections – for example, rhinestones may be missing, the enamel may be chipped off, brooches are scratched, plastic beads are dull or chains and other findings are tarnished. Please read the description carefully, look at the pictures provided closely or e-mail me any questions before committing to a purchase.
