It is replacing a similar necklace which I lost. It is a little larger than that one and that I would like but not as small as another one I ordered and returned that looked like it was designed for a child. This artist (the one who designed the necklace I have now) did say she would make the rings any size I wished but I could not recall the size of the rings on my original necklace. It arrived gift boxed beautifully and much sooner than I anticipated (I had expressed that I needed it ASP but didn't want to pay express shipping). She also e-mailed me a photo showing it being worn by a person so I could see the actual size and the length.

Handcrafted Artisan Faith Jewelry and more!

I get a little crazy when I can’t create the things swirling around in my brain. Often, I see the design in my head a number of times before I actually sketch it on paper. When it’s on paper, I try to figure out what metal or stone will work best. Once I’ve got it, I begin forming the wire or sheet metal, cut and file until it’s what I need it to be. I then use my torch to solder the piece or pieces together. After soldering, it needs to be cleaned and or pickled and then tumbled for hours. Tumbling cleans as well as hardens. Some things tumble for 12 hours or so, while others will tumble for days. After the tumbler, I use my Dremel or a polishing compound and cloth to clean each piece further. It is then I add a chain or earring wire. I wash it again with gentle jewelry cleaner before I ship it to you.

When you make your purchase, I will wrap your jewelry in wrapping paper and top it with a handmade bow and then bubble wrap it. I will ship it in a padded envelope or a Priority Small Flat Rate Box. In most cases, I will pack and mail it within one day, but sometimes it won’t ship until the day after. I am betting you will love what you buy. If you aren't sure, read my feedback. You will feel confident in your purchase.

I've been creating and selling jewelry for years, both online and by word of mouth. I started on EBay, but switched to Etsy in 2008. I sold my first necklace in 2 hours. My second didn’t sell for three weeks. Such is life! I love selling on Etsy!

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

Want something I've already sold or something new, a design of your own creation, convo me. I'm happy to work with you on a custom or personalized order. Sometimes, I require a 50% deposit, especially if its solid gold or an item over $100. During the process, I will send you photos so you will see everything as I go along and can approve or make changes at any time. I will also send you final photos for approval before shipping.

Sizing details

If you are unsure of your ring size, you can go to most mall jewelry stores, Walmarts or Targets to get your finger sized. I also sell ring sizers for $2 in my shop that can be used to measure all your fingers and toes. Please keep in mind, the thicker the ring, the larger the size needed. If you normally wear a size 7 in a thin ring, you will need a 7.25 or 7.5 in a wide band ring. If you want a Necklace or Bracelet resized, and the option isn't available in my listing, send me a convo. I will always accommodate you if I can.

Care instructions

Please don't wear any jewelry while cleaning, using chemicals, bathing or swimming esp with opals, turquoise, leather, oxidized jewelry (blackened silver) and gemstone settings.

Most jewelry (Not Oxidized or Leather) can be cleaned using a liquid jewelry cleaner or gentle dish soap like Dawn in lukewarm water. Just swish your jewelry around a bit, rinse with water, and then allow to air dry.

Most rings can be cleaned with a polishing cloth, especially solid gold, 14k gold fill, fine silver and sterling. Do not wipe or rub Gold Vermeil as the Gold Plating will come off and reveal the Sterling underneath.
Don't use Sonic Cleaners unless it is for Metal Jewelry that doesn't contain any stones.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I box and wrap all jewelry in a pretty blue paper with a handmade bow unless you ask me not to. Most brides don't want their bridal orders wrapped because they wish to use their own paper.

What if I ordered the Wrong Size?

This isn't a big deal and it happens a lot. If it is an all metal ring, it will be an easy fix. I will ask that you get your finger measured or will send you a ring sizer to confirm. When you send the ring back (With Delivery Confirmation), I will exchange it for the proper size and return it to you as soon as possible. I only ask you to pay for the shipping back to you.

If it's a necklace or bracelet, I can usually extend it. I don't charge for this, but do ask that you pay for the cost of shipping it back to you. Let me know you want it lengthened or shortened. I will give you an address to use for the return/exchange. please include delivery confirmation on your package when you return it to me.

Processing Times

Most of my jewelry is ready to ship. If you are purchasing something as is, your order will almost always go out within 24 hours. However, if you require a different length, size, or finish, that will require time. Oxidizing (Blackening the Silver Finish) usually only requires a few hours to a day. Removing oxidation requires a couple of days. Rosary rings require 6 to 10 days.
I usually have this information at the top of my listings. Please keep in mind these are processing times, not shipping times. If you choose to ship via Priority Mail, it will not speed up the processing time. It will only speed up the shipping/delivery time.

EU Buyers

If you live within the European Union, you will be charged a Customs Fee and VAT Tax. The amount varies depending on your country. I do not know how much you have to pay, but you can find out online if you search your country's import charges. This fee has nothing to do with the shipping fee you are charged. It is a fee imposed by your own country. I usually contact my EU customers before shipping and wait to hear from them as some choose to cancel their orders rather than pay the additional fees. I understand this and have no problem canceling the order and refunding your money if I've not shipped your item. I usually wait a couple of days to hear from you. Convo if you have any questions.

What if this is a Gift?

I send almost everything in a blue gift wrapped box that is ready for giving. The only time I don't is when a customer specifically requests no wrapping or if it's a bridal order and the bride is using her own paper. Most of the time, I use the gift invoice. The gift invoice, as opposed to the traditional invoice, doesn’t include a price. I am also happy to include a small message.

I want to make a Return

I want you to be happy with your order. If you are not, please contact me within 7 days of Delivery. I will give you instructions that include a different mailing address and ask you to include Delivery Confirmation (and in some cases, Insurance) on your return package. Your item must be shipped back within 14 days of your Return Request and in the same condition as you received it.
