Hello to all my Etsy friends! Thanks for checking out my shop and supporting my small business! We're more than halfway through 2018 and it's been a BUSY year - and I'm so thankful for it.

Beadfest Philly was great! I got to meet and teach some wonderful students in the 3 classes I taught and met so many more lovely customers at my booth. Tammy Honnaman from Beadwork magazine had a small but charming get-together for Beadwork people at her home right outside of Philadelphia. She is such a gracious hostess - Thank you Tammy. I also got to not only meet my book editor in person but had a chance to have her as a student! She registered for my Oh! Bead Bracelet class and did really well. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE IN PHILADELPHIA!! Next year will be even better!

In March I had a booth and taught a class at the Twin Cities Bead Bazaar right here in Hopkins, MN. It was a great success! I'm looking forward to the October 27-28 show this fall where I'll have a booth and teach 2 classes: C-Koop de Ville Bracelet and Czech Swirl. My third book of kumihimo designs has been published and is currently available through Interweave Press/F&W Media. It's entitled "10 Kumihimo Patterns to Braid". This ebook is full of beautiful kumi designs including one of my favorite necklaces named "AVA's Planet". My friend Lisa Krupp-Dooley and I designed this one together. We had such a good time with it we've decided there will be more collaborations in the future! You can purchase my first 2 books here also ("Kumihimo Made Easy" and "Elegant Kumihimo").

It's the perfect size for bracelets and can easily to used for however long a braid you want to make. I had a little bit of trouble at first getting the dowels to fit into the slots the first time, but was able to get it to work with a hammer. I especially love the Velcro tabs that hold a braiding template.

Overall it is very sturdy and convenient.
