Shop policies

Last updated on February 5, 2011
All items in my shop are entirely original to me, and handmade to one degree or another. I use the best materials for the job, and unless otherwise stated everything is archival. I make new things as they occur to me, so keep an eye open for brand new products!

As they are handmade, please allow for slight variation between items.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I accept both PayPal and Money Orders. Payment must be completed before I ship, or begin work on a commission.
Order cancellations must be made within 24 hours of payment, or else it must be processed as a refund.

If you are paying with PayPal, please keep in mind that they take a cut and that this may be reflected in the amount refunded.

In the case of cancelled commissions, I will return payment minus percentage earned at the current stage of completion.
If we haven't yet begun work, all money will be refunded. If I've completed preliminary sketches/thumbnails, I will keep 30%. If final sketches have been approved, less 50%. If I've already begun on the final product and the completion looks to fall within the agreed-upon timeline, 70%. Completed commissions are paid for in full, unless the customer has a substantial complaint with the final product.
Shipping
Items ship within one or two business days following payment, except in the case of commissioned items which ship upon completion.

I ship using USPS First-Class or Priority mail unless the customer requests otherwise prior to payment.

I cannot guarantee the safety of your purchase once the Post Office has possession of it, though I wrap and pad everything I ship with extreme care. Contact me if anything goes wrong and we can discuss options. I would recommend purchasing shipping insurance on expensive and one-of-a-kind items.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are dissatisfied with the product, contact me to discuss refund or replacement. Complaints are handled on a case-by-case basis, but ultimately I want to ensure that every customer is pleased with their transaction.
Additional policies and FAQs
I love taking commissions. If there's anything you want that does not appear within my shop but seems within my abilities, please consider requesting it.
This includes archival prints of my preexisting artwork, or original illustrations.
