I absolutely love this piece of art glass.
Julie Bridgman on Aug 5, 2016
What a lovely treasure I found in this small package that has a large amount of sleek, classy characteristics! The contrasting sections draw your eye right into its diagonal detail & then the beautiful class just sets it off. I placed it on my window sill so I could get as much light as possible going through. I just love it and the artist is so creative and passionate. Thanks you so much!
Creating functional and artglass in Alaska's Rainforest
We are a mother/daughter team whose desire is to create items of classic beauty and grace - something reminiscent of an Audrey Hepburn movie; however what regularly comes out of our shop is whimsically fun and a riot of color and texture – something Cyndi Lauper (or Lady Gaga for the younger crowd) would feel right at home with. Our creative process is equally loud – fueled by coffee and an eclectic mix of 80’s classic pop and whatever’s hot today.
We are fortunate to live and work surrounded by the natural beauty of Southeast Alaska. Being a temperate rainforest, the palette here trends toward grays and muted blue-greens except on those incredible days when the sun breaks through and the world explodes into crisp, brilliant color. The same effervescence and joyful overabundance makes its way into our work. Some might say we’re overcompensating; we like to think of it as adding a little bling and playfulness to a (sometimes) somber world.
Being easily distracted by bright, shiny objects means our collection of beads, fabrics, and (of course) glass is constantly growing. Finding ways to use these treasures has, most recently, resulted in a fusion of stained and fused glass, scrapbooking and beading techniques which become decorations for frames or collage-like wall hangings. Our art is ever young and ever changing as we move from one ‘favorite’ technique to the next. However, through it all, our love for and appreciation of the beauty in which we live inspires our choice of materials and, in many cases, is included, in one form or another, in our creations.
We hope you enjoy wandering through our collection and, even more importantly, hope you find something that makes you smile!
In the meantime we’re off to create – excuse me while I turn up the music.

A fan of anything sparkly I am the Magpie of the team. Drawn to glass, but frustrated with the technical aspects of stained glass, warm glass is the perfect fusion of inspiration & perspiration, without the stringent detail of stained glass work.
Hello! I'm Squid, the daughter of the team. First introduced to stained glass as a child in my grandpa's glass studio, I seriously pursued the talent in high school. I've spent time at university & abroad, but have always come back to stained glass.
We are a mother-daughter team who love to play with glass and are thrilled to be able to share our passion for glass - in its many forms - with you. We are lucky enough to live and work in Southeast Alaska in the middle of the Tongass National Forest.
