Looks as pictured, good value for money, quick shipment. Communication with the shop owner was pleasant. The earrings are much smaller than I would expect from the picture, though, the image seems to be enlarged to show the details well.

Why Magpie's Gems?

Like a magpie, I am drawn to anything sparkly. I've always wanted to make jewellery but there was ever enough time or the right place to sell it.

Etsy seemed like the perfect fit -allowing me to set up shop and do something that I love. It's a wonderful opportunity for me and a much needed creative outlet.

Big bonus - I get to collect more gorgeous gemstones and make beautiful jewellery for you....and me!

magpie's gems only accepts payment via PayPal. Simply follow PayPal's instructions to pay by credit card.

To reserve an item, just convo me. Reserved items will be held for a maximum of 5 days. If payment is not received by then the order will be cancelled.
Your jewellery will be packaged in a sturdy gift box enclosed in a padded envelope, unless otherwise stated or requested. To reduce waste and shipping costs, multiple items will be packaged together. However, if you need items packed in separate boxes as gifts, please let me know.

The package will be marked as gift. Any customs fees will be borne by the customer.

**All orders are shipped from SINGAPORE via Registered Mail.

Upon receiving payment, items are shipped within one working day. There is no postal service on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

International orders are sent by registered air mail. Depending on where you live, it may take between 5-10 business days to reach you.

Singapore Post has provided the following estimated delivery times:
- Australia, United Kingdom & New Zealand - 4-6 days
- United States & Canada - 6-8 days

Occaisionally, it may take up to a month or so to reach you because of customs. As packages are sent by registered mail, it needs to be signed for at the address you provide. If no one is able to accept the package, a postal slip for re-delivery will be left.

- Effective 1 Aug 2013, the tracking status of Registered Articles delivered in the US will not be reflected in the track & trace system of both USPS and SingPost. SingPost's track & trace system will only show the date that the registered articles leaves Singapore.

- If you do not receive your package after 18 working days from the date of posting, customers can raise an enquiry with Singapore Post. Singapore Post will check with USPS on the status of the item and under international postal agreement, USPS may take up to 60 days to reply to Singapore Post. (

*Singapore orders will be sent by registered mail, hence the revised cost for local mail.

**CONVO me if you need to expedite delivery, especially for Christmas or times when you want to ensure that a gift arrives in time. Any additional costs incurred will be borne by the customer.

magpie's gems is not responsible for any lost or stolen items so if you need insurance, please contact me. Shipping insurance will incur additional costs to the customer.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please read the description of each item carefully and ask any questions, before submitting your order as refunds and exchanges are not accepted. If you should have a problem with your order, please convo me before leaving feedback so we can work it out.

Please read measurements carefully before buying and understand that as with all handmade items, there are subtle variations. Natural stones are never exactly the same - that's the charm of using natural materials in handmade products.
